Many of you are currently planning your fall trip to Walt Disney World! Many of you also know that no trip is complete without a night trick-or-treating at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! The Magic Kingdom is decked out in full Halloween glory and the party is not to be missed! This separately ticketed event is held on certain nights starting in September, and usually ending on November 1st.
So the question becomes: When will the dates for 2016 be released and when will the tickets go on sale?
Historically, Disney will release the dates for the Halloween party in late February and then tickets will go on sale in April. They need to have the dates on place prior to the 180 day mark so that guests can work around the party for dining reservations and planning out their itinerary!
2015 ticket prices ranged from $63-$87 per adult and $58-$82 for a child (3-9). Those prices depend on the dates ( Oct. 31st is the most expensive), Annual Passholder discount, DVC discount and advanced purchase. 2016 prices will most likely be slightly higher but trust me, the party is worth every penny!
All of your favorite characters are out in costume to dance, party and trick-or-treat with your little ones! There are usually many ‘less common’ characters like Jack Skellington and Sally for you to meet as well! The Boo to You Halloween parade is my favorite of all Disney parades with all of your favorite villains alongside Mickey and friends in costume and handing out candy!
New in 2015 was the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular which brought all of your favorite villains together for a spooktacular stage show! Hopefully, the show will return for the 2016 parties!
