2019 has already kicked off to a big start for new and remodeled restaurants in Disneyland Resort with the opening of Ballast Point Brewing Co and the re-opening of Naples Ristorante e Bar and Napolini Pizzeria both in Downtown Disney. As well as the re-opening of White Water Snacks in the Grand California Resort and Spa.
Disney is not done yet! 5 more new or remodeled restaurants are planned to open in 2019.
Tangaroa Terrace, Tropical Bar and Grill at the Disneyland Hotel
JUST OPENED!!!!! Tangaroa Terrace, Tropical Bar and Grill is open for business. Stop by to get express eats with a Polynesian flair. It still has that 1950s Tiki-inspired design. Guests can enjoy a new outdoor bar and patio, serving island cocktails and Asian-inspired food; Hawaiian cheeseburgers, Shipwreck Nachos, and Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken Wings.
You will be excited to know, you can get your Dole Whip throughout the day at the dedicated pickup window! You can also get your morning coffee to enjoy out by the pool. The grill offers options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with an open-air marketplace for quick bites. There are several options on the menu that are great for people needing allergy friendly diets (for example egg, gluten, milk, & soy).
Oga’s Cantina in Disneyland Park
The most anticipated restaurant opening is Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park. This new restaurant and land are set to open in Summer of 2019.
The menu will have exotic ingredients using “otherworldly” methods, served in unique vessels. There will also be alcohol for the 21 and older. This is significant because the only other place that serves alcohol in Disneyland Park is in the private Club 33. You will need to enjoy your drink in the Cantina, as you are not allowed to walk around the park with it.
Musical entertainment is provided courtesy of RX-24, the former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot droid from Star Tours, who has re-envisioned himself as the cantina’s DJ.
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer in Downtown Disney
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer was set to open in winter of 2018 but has been delayed and is set to open early 2019. This award-winning restaurant is based out of New York City and will be located across from the Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar, and feature indoor and outdoor seating with a casual vibe with a distinctly New York feel.
Black Tap is known for their Instagram worthy milkshakes. They already debuted this Lion King Inspired shake in NYC to celebrate 20 years of the Lion King on Broadway!
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures in Napa Rose in the Grand California Resort and Spa
Disney just announced that there will be a new Princess breakfast available. After Ariel’s Grotto closed, I missed dining with my princesses. But I will get the opportunity starting on Saturday, March 30, 2019
This experience will be in the elegant Napa Rose Restaurant located in the Grand California Resort and Spa. Guests will enjoy a three-course breakfast, personal interactions, photo opportunities, a fun takeaway bag and themed activities with Disney Princesses.
Hours: Thursday through Monday between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
Price: Adult: $125 & Children (ages 3 to 9): $125 (tax and gratuity not included)
Advance reservations are highly recommended.

Pool Bar at Grand Californian Resort and Spa
Sitting at the pool in the Grand Californian Resort will be more exciting with a new pool bar! Details are limited but checking out the concept art, we see that the new pool bar will make use of natural boulder stonework. You can also plan on plenty of lounge and table seating.
