The Walt Disney World 5K and 10K are already sold out!
Disney’s Castaway Cay Challenge
Now, after you run in Walt Disney World you can board the Disney Dream on a 4-night Bahamian cruise stopping at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay and run in the Disney Castaway Cay Challange! You will get to run one more 5K in paradise! This Disney cruise will depart on January 15, 2020, the Monday after Marathon Weekend. There is an additional fee to participate in the Castaway Cay Challange.
Exclusives for Participants
This exclusive runDisney Challenge is only open to runners that participated in at least one of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend races. Challenge participants can also enjoy a course chat to prepare for the race, a runDisney trivia competition, exclusive merchandise available onboard and a beer and champagne tent on Castaway Cay to celebrate after the race.
Plus, are you ready for more “bling”? Every finisher in the Castaway Cay Challenge will receive a medal uniquely designed for the 2020 race. Finishers will also get a Castaway Cay 5K Medallion! That’s two medals for one more 5K!
In addition to all of this, you will also receive a participant shirt and a personalized race bib!
What’s Included in Your Disney Cruise
Your four-night cruise on the Disney Dream you will visit Nassau Bahamas, Castaway Cay and have a day at sea. It will be packed with ways to relax and recharge. You will experience Broadway-style shows, world-class dining, fun deck parties, water activities, and more.
Then after your Castaway Cay Challange, you can enjoy snorkeling in the lagoon, rest in a hammock or indulge in a delicious BBQ lunch on Disney’s private island!
Every stop at Castaway Cay features a 5K race, but remember the Castaway Cay Challenge is exclusively for runners who participated in at least one of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend races. So even if you did not run in one of the marathon races, you can still participate in the 5K!
