With the Disney Parks shut down, for the time being, many who had plans to visit the parks and those who live nearby and frequent the parks are missing The Happiest Place on Earth. Luckily, Disney+ has an archive of shows and movies that will make you more and more excited for the days they all open back up!
- Disneyland: Around the Seasons (1967)
- There’s nothing like some classic Disney footage to make you wish you were there! Main Street USA beckons you – especially when Walt Disney himself is talking about his pride and joy that is Disneyland. Definitely one for the Disney history buffs!
- The Imagineering Story (2019) – 6 Episodes
- Captivating, surprisingly emotional and insightful, The Imagineering Story shows you the work behind all the parks – from start to finish. This film not only shows off Disney’s talented cast members, but the work, sweat, and determination that those cast members put into everything they did. All in the effort to make more magic for those who enjoy the beloved parks.
- Saving Mr. Banks (2013)
- Tom Hanks as Walt Disney? Who doesn’t like that casting? Walt works to gain the rights to Mary Poppins, but it’ll take a lot of convincing!
- Fairy Tale Weddings (2017)
- 14 main episodes and two specials? There is so much here to binge! This is definitely for those who love some sappy romance. Even if you’re not into all that lovey-dovey content, – the grand theatrics are worth the watch!
- One Day at Disney (2019)
- This show works to highlight the work that cast members at Disney do. From large scale to seemingly small scale jobs, go into the lives of these hard workers and see that there is a LOT of dedicated people that make Disney run!
- Tomorrowland (2015)
- It’s about time to go into a new world – and you will see it in Tomorrowland. It is a land in itself, but you might spot a bit of the parks during the film!
- Decorating Disney: Holiday Magic (2017)
- Sometimes, in times of stress, you should close your eyes and head to a happy place. Pretend it’s Christmas while you’re watching Decorating Disney and deck your own halls with boughs of holly!
