Our very own Chip from Chip and Co. is sailing the High Seas with Disney Cruise Line has just sent over some spooktacular Halloween touches that guests will find on board. If you’re considering a Disney Cruise, charting a course for adventure in September and October is definitely worth considering. Not only do you get to enjoy all of the incredible amenities, stunning ports of call and impeccable service that Disney Cruise Lines are known for but you also get to take part in a dazzling itinerary of Halloween fun! From amazing decor to costume parties to seasonal eats and treats a Halloween on the High Seas sailing has it all. Just check out a few of the images that Chip has sent our way!
Pumpkin Tree – Holding center stage in the middle of the grand foyer is the Pumpkin Tree. This lovely bit of Halloween decor has a special story to tell so be sure to gather round on embarkation day to hear all about the lore surrounding this interesting new friend. Also be sure to keep an eye on it throughout your sailing as it undergoes an exciting Halloween transformation!
Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party – One of our favorite things about a Halloween on the High Seas sailing is this wonderful party where you can don your favorite Halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating on board the ship!
You’ll find cool trick or treat stations like this throughout the party!
So grab your trick-or-treat bags like the Wreck-It-Ralph version above and see how much of this delicious loot you can grab!
Characters in character! – During the Halloween on the High Seas sailings, many of your favorite Disney friends will make an appearance in their favorite Halloween get-ups. Check out this picture of Mickey all dressed up in his seasonal finery! Be sure to have those cameras at the ready!
Wonderfully themed decorations – Chip just couldn’t resist sharing this fun shot of the magical transformations the porthole windows in the foyer undergo each Halloween season! With window seating built in, they are the perfect place to relax, feel the spirit of the season and have your photo snapped!
In demand souvenirs – We’ll let you in on a little secret. When it comes to Halloween souvenir take-home containers at the theme parks each season, the frenzy can reach fever pitch with avid Disney fans scrambling to pick up one and lines reaching Black Friday-like length! Not so much during the Halloween on the High Seas sailings. Chip found this Oogie Boogie Souvenir Popcorn container near the Walt Disney Theater for $14 and without the crazy lines!
Here’s a look at the standard souvenir popcorn buckets as well as the refillable mugs!
And finally the Poison Apple Halloween Stein!
Halloween goodies – The Halloween details are carried through all the way to the treats! Chip captured this mouth-watering photo of Mickey pumpkin Halloween Cupcakes at Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats! Yummy!
These are just a mere glimpse of the many fantastic experiences you’ll have when sailing the seas with Disney Cruise Line. There are still fantastic Halloween on the High Seas sailings available to book in 2018 and packages are available through until the end of 2019! Other activities you’ll get to enjoy on these incredible sailings include:
- Halloween Activities – Take part in family fun activities like mask-making and pumpkin-carving.
- Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream – It’s “Season’s Screamings” during this interactive movie experience, followed by a meet-and-greet with Jack and Sally.
