Today we are taking the “World Princess Week” celebration under the sea with Ariel!
As you might know, Disney is celebrating our favorite princesses the whole week, focusing on a different one each day as part of the Ultimate Princess Celebration! So let’s splash some fun today at Disney Parks around the world and at home with Ariel and her friends:
WALT DISNEY WORLD
If you are in Florida, then Magic Kingdom is the place to be to celebrate with Ariel. Here you can take a ride on Under The Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid located in Fantasyland and then head over to Prince Eric’s Villgae Market to enjoy a refreshing Mermaid Tail Slushie! This frozen drink features blue raspberry and frozen green apple topped with whipped cream and a mermaid tail, delicious!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! You can continue your under the sea journey at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
The hotel has a whole area dedicated to The Little Mermaid with giant seashell headboards, an octopus coat rack, and a shower curtain that depicts the film’s classic “under the sea” number! And outside you can swim in the Flippin’ Fins Pool that features music of the Under the Sea orchestra conducted by Sebastian.
DISNEYLAND RESORT
At Disney California Adventure Park you can take a ride on The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure! You can hop into your clam-mobile for a whimsical musical adventure, as you float through scenes from the Disney Animation classic.
DISNEY CRUISE LINE
Watch Ariel’s story manifest at sea at the Disney Wonder! The elegant atrium lobby features Art Nouveau-inspired decor that evokes the story of The Little Mermaid. You will find a beautiful bronze statue of Ariel as the focal point of this three-deck tall space and a must do photo location for guests.
Behind the statue you will find the entrance to Triton’s, a restaurant that offers fine dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
TOKYO DISNEY RESORT
If you are visiting Japan, you have to check out “King Triton’s Concert” at the Mermaid Lagoon Theater at Tokyo Disney Resort! This musical extravaganza will enchant you with popular songs like “Part of Your World” and “Under the Sea”!
At Tokyo Disney Sea, don’t miss The Little Mermaid area where you can visit Ariel’s Grotto and get some fun souvenirs at Mermaid Memories! Here you will find toys and other fun merchandise themed to Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, and other sea friends.
You can also visit The Sleepy Whale Shoppe for more character merchandise and even some sweets inspired in The Little Mermaid!
You can also have fun riding Flounder’s Flying Fish Coaster! It’s so much fun!
HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
Hong Kong Disneyland is home of the Castle of Magical Dreams, this castle honor all the princesses including Ariel. If pay close attention, you will notice Ariel’s tower is inspired by her dress, incorporating varying shades of coral and green, while the dome features scalloped details with pearly luster and gold highlights and a gold seashell supported by algae and pearls serve as this tower’s finial.
SHANGHAI DISNEY RESORT
You can’t miss “Summer Blast Castle Show” at Shanghai Disneyland performed in front of Enchanted Storybook Castle! The show features magical fountains and the aquatic worlds of some of your favorite films like The Little Mermaid.
On “Voyage to the Crystal Grotto” you can journey deep into a cavern where stories like Ariel’s come alive in a dazzling display of music, light and wonder!
DISNEYLAND PARIS
In Paris, you can set off on a voyage to magical miniature lands on “Le Pays des Contes de Fees”, you will see Prince Eric’s seaside castle and more!
Disneyland Paris also offers Mickey’s Philharmagic where you will find Ariel singing “Part of Your World”!
