The Hits (What to Eat)

  • Blackened Fish Slider (Florida Fresh): This new addition at CommuniCore Plaza was absolutely delicious and has quickly become a festival favorite. The pairing of the perfectly seasoned fish with a crispy fried green tomato and tangy Cajun rémoulade on a buttery brioche bun is a winner.
  • Frushi (Japan): This remains an absolute must-try. It is incredibly refreshing and the perfect light snack for a Florida afternoon.

  • Mickey Lemon Violet Macaron: While the “violet” flavor is subtle, the citrus is bright and the vanilla crème shines.

  • Orange Cream Shake (Sunshine Seasons): The shake itself is creamy perfection, even if the accompanying cookie is just okay.

What to Skip: The 2026 Disappointments

Not every “bloom” is a rose! Here are the items and experiences we recommend skipping this year:

Living with the Land “Overlay”: Usually a festival highlight, the 2026 “decor” is extremely lacking. Compared to the massive Princess overlay of 2025, this year feels sparse and uninspired.

Butterfly Landing: While this may be a popular area for some, and if may just be too early in the season- we were quite bored walking through this area. I think we saw a total of 3 butterflies in the entire exhibit. The prettiest butterfly was the giant topiary outside of the canopy.

Dubai Chocolate Frozen Cappuccino: This was our biggest letdown drink at the Canada Joffrey’s. It didn’t capture that signature Dubai chocolate flavor at all; it just tasted like a standard mocha latte.

Nighttime Spike Exhibit (CommuniCore Hall): The “Sunlight to Starbright in Spike’s Garden” exhibit is a bit of a letdown. While the idea of a garden transitioning from day to night sounds magical, the execution feels underwhelming and isn’t worth a special trip inside.
