These tips will help you get the most out of your Walt Disney World Annual Pass
Walt Disney World annual passes are finally available again for the general public. While pass holders were able to renew their passes, and Florida residents were able to purchase the lowest-tier Pixie Pass, Annual Pass sales for most of the public were paused since 2021, before finally going back on sale last week. Walt Disney World Annual Passes afford benefits beyond theme park access and discounts on resort hotel rooms. These tips will allow you to fully leverage the additional perks available with your annual pass.

Shop the Gift Shops
A Walt Disney World Annual Pass does not afforded discounts at quick service restaurants or food carts. Annual Passholders do, however, get discounts on items purchased in gift shops. This means that you will pay full price for a soda, bottle of water, or snack and at food cart, but can use your discount on that same bottle of water, soda, or snack at a gift shop. You can even use your Annual Pass discount at the Main Street Confectionary, allowing you to fully satisfy your sweet tooth while also maximizing your savings!
Check for Table Service discounts
Not every table service restaurant affords discounts for Annual Passes at Walt Disney World, but many do. Some are available seven days per week, while others may have limitations on days of the week in which they are offered. The list of table service locations that provide an annual pass discount is subject to change, so your best bet is to check the online discount list prior to making reservations. You can also ask your waiter when you check in, as I have seen the website list limitations on annual pass discounts on table service locations that were different from the actual in-person experience.
Add on Upgrades

Annual Passholders can elect to purchase two add-ons to their passes: Photo Pass Downloads and the Water Parks and Sports Option. Both add-ons cost $99 each per pass. The Photo Pass add-on provides access to all photos taken by Photo Pass photographers, attraction photos, magic shots, and photos taken during a Capture Your Moment Session. This upgrade is more affordable than purchasing Memory Maker as part of your vacation package, and is good for the duration of your pass!
The Water Parks and Sports Option is, in my opinion, the best bang for your buck of any Annual Pass tier or option available. For just an additional $99 per pass, you are afforded access to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, golf at the 9-hole Oak Trail Golf Course, and mini golf prior to 4:00 PM at both Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course.
