What are some romantic dining options at Walt Disney World?

While planning a trip to Walt Disney World, many people have a goal of enjoying a character meal during the trip. This is often especially the case if any kids will be coming!

However, Walt Disney World is not just for kids, and there are many places where couples can go for a romantic meal. Whether you want to head out for a date night while traveling with the family or you are on a romantic getaway or even a honeymoon, check out a few great places to add a little romance!

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Yes, this is a character meal and you will see many families dining here. However, it can certainly be a romantic meal as well. What fairytale lover doesn’t want to dine in Cinderella Castle?

Looking to pop the question during your special dinner? There are a few different options to help make the event special, from add-ons with champagne and dessert to a package with VIP fireworks viewing and a dessert party.

Narcoossee’s

This restaurant is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. This breathtakingly beautiful resort provides the perfect atmosphere for a romantic evening. The restaurant is situated on the lagoon, with a panoramic view of the Magic Kingdom and Electrical Water Pageant. You can head outside to the waterfront verandah for a perfect view of the fireworks after your meal, or even while you eat!

California Grill

This restaurant definitely offers one of the best views of the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, paired with a great signature dining experience. If you have a dinner reservation here, you can enjoy your meal, regardless of the time, and then return to watch the fireworks show by showing your receipt. You can choose to sit on the outdoor observation deck or enjoy a drink in the lounge, as the music is piped in from the Happily Ever After fireworks show.

Le Cellier

This restaurant provides a cozy environment to enjoy a delicious, and romantic, meal of Canadian cuisine. Why not enjoy one of the amazing entrees for dinner in the Canada Pavilion and then explore more throughout the World Showcase?

Sanaa

This restaurant is found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village and offers an amazingly unique view of the African Savanna while you enjoy African cuisine. Afterwards, you can take a walk around this resort and look at the many exotic animals including zebras, giraffes, and more.

This list is not a comprehensive list by any means but gives a few ideas of some great romantic dining options. There are many more options including one of the most well-known and elegant restaurants in Walt Disney World, Victoria and Albert’s.

Many of the examples listed above are considered signature dining experiences, but there are also several other great restaurants that would be perfect for those looking for a romantic experience. You may also consider heading to Epcot during one of the great festivals offered throughout the year. Oftentimes, there are many food booths set up around the park. This would be a great date night – eating different foods and exploring the World Showcase.
