What are the Best One Credit Table Service Meals at Walt Disney World?

If you are planning a Walt Disney World Vacation and using one of the dining plans, you may be wondering where to eat. What are the best one-credit table service meals? Well, there are so many delicious options! Here are just a few of my favorites that are both delicious and, in my opinion, good use of a table service credit.

Character Meals

Character Meals are always a good use of a table service credit and there are several that have great food as well. While many character meals are buffet-style, there are some restaurants where guests order from a menu. In some cases, it’s a prix fixe meal. There are also some family-style options. Most of the character meals are one table service credit. There are a few exceptions – Cinderella’s Royal Table and dinner at Be Our Guest both require 2 credits.

My Top 5 Character Meals are all one credit:

Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno – Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel, and Prince Eric
Garden Grill – Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale
Storybook Dining at Artist Point – Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey, and Evil Queen
Tusker House – Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy
Best Friends Breakfast – Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch

‘Ohana

This restaurant offers a great character meal for breakfast and an all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner with delicious Polynesian fare. It is very popular and perfect for all ages! Whether you are over 21 and relaxing with a tropical drink or have little ones that can join in the fun and games including coconut races, you will love the whole experience.

Coral Reef

The Coral Reef is a restaurant found in the Epcot in the Seas Pavilion. While you dine, you can enjoy watching over 4,000 different sea creatures, with over 85 species, including sharks, sea turtles and more. In addition to the view, the food is pretty good too. For one credit on the Disney Dining Plan, guests can enjoy a whole lobster, grilled top sirloin steak and more. Don’t forget to try the Turtle Cheesecake!

Dining Packages

Are you hoping to see one of the amazing nighttime shows or the parade at Walt Disney World? Did you know that if you are on one of the Disney Dining Plans, you can use ONE of your table service credits and get not only a great meal but also a great view to one of these shows? There are three different packages available for only one dining credit and each show features VIP seating to either the parade or nighttime show.

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package – This package includes lunch at Tony’s Town Square and VIP seating for the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom. The seating is right near the flag pole and provides the perfect view of Cinderella Castle with all of the characters and floats. Many times, we have finished our meals and walked right out to take a seat, with plenty of availability. In my opinion, this is a great use of one table service credit for the parade alone because this area is roped off specifically for guests who have purchased this package.

Fantasmic! Dining Package – This dining package can be booked at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and guests have a choice of 3 different restaurants: Hollywood and Vine, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, and Hollywood Brown Derby. The first two only require one table service credit, while the third requires two credits. You will receive your tickets to the show when you arrive for your meal. It is recommended that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the show. There is a designated section for those who have purchased the dining packages, but there are not assigned seats.

Rivers of Light Dining Package – This dining package can be booked at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. For one table service credit, guests can enjoy a meal at Tusker House, which is a character meal, and then head to premium seating for the Rivers of Light Show. It is recommended that guests arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the show, as there is a designated section for those who have purchased the dining package but not assigned seats.
