For fans of character sightings throughout Walt Disney World, Character-Palooza is an event that shouldn’t be missed! If this is your first time hearing about it, have no fear – you’re not the only one! Character-Palooza is one of Walt Disney World’s best-kept secrets that is a joy to stumble across. So – What is it exactly?

Character-Palooza is a chance for you to meet unique and random characters in Walt Disney World. There is no exact schedule and the characters will always vary. So why are these characters meandering about? Well, these happen to be characters-in-training. You’ll spot them alongside their Blueberries (the name for character handlers, who wear a blueberry-colored shirt) who also happen to be in training as well!

So, what characters can you spot at Character-Palooza? This is truly a luck of the draw. Depending on what new cast members are joining the character crew, the character in question is completely random. There have been many spots – popular characters such as Donald Duck, Goofy, Chip ‘n Dale, and Tigger have been found. If you’re looking for characters that aren’t so common, Mushu, Thumper, Bert from Mary Poppins, as well as Pinocchio have been seen as well!

If this intrigues you and you’re all in to take your chance on finding these fantastic characters, there are two places you can try:
1. The walkway alongside Reagle Eagle Smokehouse in the America Adventures area
2. Next to Joffrey’s in between the Canada Pavillion and the UK Pavilion

Here’s the thing, there is no exact time. Various blogs and articles all give random times that they have seen this happen. You may simply be lucky enough when you’re making your way around the World Showcase that you spot this fantastic gem of an event happening.
