Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort are finding it’s getting harder and harder to get the dining reservations they want. Dining reservations get snagged up within minutes of becoming available. Let’s talk about how to get your must-have dining reservations.
Most advanced dining reservations open up 60 days in advance. Guests are encouraged to book their reservations as soon as they can. Reservations are released on a rolling basis so if you don’t get the reservation you want, keep checking back! You can even get lucky enough to snag a reservation the day before you want to dine.

We’ve realized lately that if we look for reservations exactly 60 days out, the Disneyland website comes up with an error saying “We were unable to check for available tables at this time.” It isn’t because nothing is available. It’s because lately reservations are being released 40-50 days in advance rather than 60. So, again, keep checking regularly!
If you get to your check-in date and you still don’t have the reservations you were dying to get, don’t give up! Select restaurants offer a walk-up waitlist. When you are in the park, you can check the Disneyland app to see which restaurants are offering the waitlist, and then you can add your name to the list!

The Disneyland Resort is still in a phased reopening which means the restaurants are not all fully staffed yet. That makes scheduling difficult which is why reservations can be added after the 60 day mark.
The most tried-and-tested strategy for getting your must-have dining reservations: Check daily, grab whatever you can get and cancel if something better shows up. And if all else fails, try the walk-up list when you arrive!
