Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation

Disney offers round-trip shuttle transportation between the airport and the cruise port. It is typically $39 per person each way. If you book Disney Cruise Line’s ground transportation, you’ll be sent special luggage tags that streamline getting your luggage onto the ship. This option is comfortable and fairly seamless though you do share your ride with other guests. Since Covid, however, you will be given a specific time that the shuttle will pick you up. So, if your flight arrives at 7:30 am but your shuttle pick-up time is 10 am, you’ll be hanging out at the airport for a bit. You will need to reserve and pay for this service in advance.

Uber/Lyft

Another option is a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. You won’t need to book this option ahead of time and rideshare costs are typically half of the cost of a taxi. Pricing is also very competitive with the cheapest shuttle options. You also don’t have to share your ride with other guests. It’s just you and your party!

Independent Shuttle Companies

There are other, independent shuttle companies that can take you to the cruise port. Just like Disney Cruise Line’s transportation, you’ll share your ride with others. However, independent shuttle companies have more vehicle options. These range from sedans and limos to minivans and large motor coaches. That also allows for a bigger range in pricing.

Drive Yourself

If you are not flying into your cruise port but driving, you can usually park your vehicle at the cruise port. That will cost you a fee. For example, if you are departing from Port Canaveral, the cost to park your car depends on your cruise length. You could pay anywhere from $68 to $136. You could also rent a vehicle from an airport car rental company if you want to explore a little bit before checking in for your cruise. If you choose to keep your car during your cruise, however, the cost of the vehicle along with the parking fee at the port can add up.
