What's New to Eat at the Disney Parks in March 2019

If you are visiting one of the Disney Parks this month, you will find some great new food additions that will be sure to make your taste buds dance! Let’s check out all of the new delicious options. From a new food truck at Disney Springs to Mardi Gras.

Up first, Mardi Gras is here! What better way to celebrate than visiting one of the amazing restaurants at Disneyland? At Café Orleans, you will find Potato Leek Soup and the Monte Cristo Sandwich, which is battered, fried and served with maple syrup and bacon herb slaw. If you are looking for something sweet, you can try the Lemon Cake Roll-yal, which is a sponge cake with lemon butter and royal-colored frosting. At the French Market, Mardi Gras Coconut Cake will be served. This delicious treat features layers of sponge cake and pastry cream, topped with coconut flakes. At the Blue Bayou Restaurant, there is a special Mardi Gras menu that includes the Catch of the Day, which is Meagre with rainbow cauliflower, potato corn chowder and cilantro puree. For dessert, check out the Royal Street Bundt Cake – a pound cake with pecan praline buttercream and white chocolate mousse.

At Disney Springs, you will find a brand-new food truck joining the rest of the food trucks on the West Side. The Mac & Cheese Truck will be coming to Disney Springs and the dishes here can’t be missed! You will find something for every taste here whether it’s Crunchy Mac-N-Cheese topped with six different cheeses and crunchy cheese puffs or the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac-N-Cheese, topped with bacon, ground meat, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Maybe you prefer seafood and would enjoy the Lobster and Shrimp Mac-N-Cheese with swiss and cheddar cheese, topped with lobster, shrimp and crackers. Some other amazing options include Chicken Parmesan Mac-N-Cheese with Alfredo sauce, fried chicken, marinara, Parmesan cheese and basil. Smoked Brisket Mac-N-Cheese is another delicious choice, made with cheddar and smoked gouda and topped with tender smoked brisket, sweet and tangy barbecue sauce, crispy onion rings, and chives.

B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. also has some delicious new menu options. This restaurant is also at Disney Springs and has added three new foot-long hot dogs to the menu. The Hawaiian Island Dog is topped with pineapple salsa, spam and teriyaki; the New York Pastrami Reuben Dog has shaved pastrami, swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing; and the Texas Chili Cheese Dog has chili, cheddar cheese and corn crisps. The best part? You can try all three of these new additions if you order the Three Little Pigs Sampler, which includes smaller versions of each.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there is a new bakery to get some great sweet treats. While visiting An Incredible Celebration on Pixar Place, be sure to stop by the Neighborhood Bakery and try all of the new treats inspired by The Incredibles themselves! If you are looking for something savory, be sure to grab one of the Mask Pretzels, served with cheese, or the Incredible Hero Sandwich, which includes Italian meats and cheeses and an olive tapenade. The Num Num Cookie, served warm, or the Key Lime Pie on a stick are perfect choices to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you are just thirsty, there are some delicious options to cool you down too. Check out the blue raspberry Frozone Slush with whipped cream or the Secret Identity with frozen Coca-Cola and cherry cotton candy. Don’t forget your fun Pixar-themed straw!

At the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in Epcot, you will be able to enjoy a new dish starting on March 6. The Traditional English Meat Pie is a pie crust dough filled with chicken, mushroom, bacon, leeks, thyme, and nutmeg with a creamy gravy. Fries (chips) are also included.

At Tiffins Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the kids’ menu has recently been changed. Now, the youngest guests in your party can enjoy some new options including Shredded Beef Tacos with queso fresco; Bunny Chow – brioche stuffed with curried stew of root vegetables and plant-based protein; Grilled Shrimp with ginger-tamari sauce; or White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese. As a sweet treat, kids can choose either a Cookies and Cream Brownie or Tres Leches – a triple soaked vanilla sponge cake.

With so many delicious new options, there is sure to be something for everyone in your travel party! Make the month of March one that your palate will remember and be sure to check out some of these delicious eats on your next trip!
