Where Can You Get Breakfast at AK? 1

Here at Disney Addicts, we get asked a TON of Disney-related questions – and many of them are about FOOD! Many of the questions are related to breakfast – specifically where to find it! So – if you’re wondering, “Where can I get breakfast at Animal Kingdom?” – read on to find out!

Counter Service: If a quick bite is what you’re looking for, then check out these AK spots:
-Creature Comforts – This is the Animal Kingdom Starbucks’ location – so you will find your typical Starbucks menu offerings – including hot and cold coffee and tea drinks, and an assortment of pastries (including specialty items like cupcakes and giant cinnamon rolls), and a large menu of hot breakfast sandwiches too (ham & swiss, and a reduced fat version with turkey bacon, to name a few)

-Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery: coffee beverages, assorted pastries, and a quiche and breakfast sandwich are what you’ll find in this Africa dining spot. Assorted juices, fruit, and yogurt are also available

-Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe: An assortment of entrees like breakfast tacos/burrito, and bacon/sausage and egg sandwiches await you here, as well as pancake and french toast on a stick for kids options. Entrees are served with hash browns, and kids meals get a drink choice included (milk/juice). Coffee and juice are also available

Table Service: If you’re looking for a more leisurely sit down meal, head to these AK spots (ADR’s HIGHLY recommended for any of these!):
-Tusker House: This is one of my personal favorites – a breakfast buffet with African flair and characters, too! Donald “hosts” the breakfast, and his friends Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Daisy are on hand for hugs, autographs and photo ops. The food is largely basic breakfast, but with some more unique offerings – like bobotie (a spicy meat & egg casserole) as well as other African inspired items

-Rainforest Cafe: frittata, eggs benedict, and a Mexican style breakfast pizza are just a few of the early morning eats offered here. Kids can choose from their own menu of items like waffles, oatmeal and eggs. The surroundings here are the best part – it really feels like you’re eating with the animals in the rainforest!

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day – and I agree! So you’ll want to make it a point to stop at one or more of these AK breakfast spots before you hit up all the rides and attractions!
