Souvenir shopping is one of my favorite things about going to Walt Disney World – I love browsing around all the different stores and seeing what they have to offer. It’s easy to get caught up in the “Disney Magic” and buy ALL THE SOUVENIRS – which in reality isn’t too practical (especially for your wallet!). Not all souvenirs are created equally – so read on for my top picks for Best Souvenirs for Every Age:
Littlest Disney Addicts: Babies and Toddlers are pretty easy to please, and I find that a stuffed animal is usually the best bet. Something soft and cuddly and in the shape of their favorite character is the perfect souvenir for little hands. They come in all shapes, sizes and characters, so you will definitely be able to find one that pleases your little one. Something useful like a blanket, beach towel, or sippy cup is also a great choice for the smallest Disney fans
Younger Kids: Once kids get a little older, they definitely become more interested in souvenirs and will want to pick out their own keepsakes. You can still steer them in the right direction though – things like a classic Mickey Ears hat with their name embroidered on it, a backpack, or something you can help them do as a family – like a puzzle or lego set are all good options. Board Games are another great souvenir for kids that the whole family will be able to enjoy together
Older Kids/Teens: Teens are tricky when it comes to souvenirs – but there are plenty of cool things they will love at Disney. Tech accessories are huge at WDW right now – TONS of phone cases, tablet cases, speakers, earbuds – they have them all, and your teen is sure to find one they will love. Older boys might enjoy some of the more intricate Star Wars Lego sets, and girls will love the affordable selection of Disney jewelry (dangly Mickey earrings and more!)
Adults: Souvenirs aren’t JUST for kids! There are TONS of great finds for adults too – kitchen accessories galore – like oven mitts, ice cube trays, and tons of barware and a HUGE mug selection. A great selection of jewelry is available too – including watches for men and women, and designer bags in all shapes and sizes (brands like Vera Bradley and Dooney & Bourke both make exclusive lines for Disney). Luggage, photo albums/frames, art, I could go on – but I won’t! The point is – there are TONS of great things for adults to pick from, too
Gifts: While you’re shopping, you might want to pick up something for your dog sitter, or your neighbor who is picking up your mail while you’re out of town – and even those who aren’t huge “Disney” fans will love Disney coffee/tea, and bagged candy/snacks from Goofy’s Candy Company
Space Savers: If you’re short on suitcase space, you may want to stick to smaller souvenirs, like shot glasses, keychains, pens, and decks of cards. Still lots of fun – but just smaller!
Hopefully, these top souvenir picks will help you decide what to bring home on your next Disney Trip! Happy Shopping!
