On a recent Sunday visit to EPCOT, we met a TON of characters, including Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Snow White, Belle, Aurora, and Alice, all in under 2 hours! This amazing day caused me to pause and reflect on the amazing variety of character meet-and-greets that are available at the park. With a wide array of characters available daily, most with relatively low wait times, you can meet many of your favorites in just one day at EPCOT, making this park the perfect park for character meet and greets!

When first entering the park, you can cross many of the must-do characters off your list like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Daisy Duck. The newly installed Moana meet and greet is also super fun and a great photo op thanks to the theming, and you can even grab a picture with Walt at Dreamers Point! Fans if Figment can snag a photo over at the Imagination Pavilion, and Pooh can even be spotted chasing butterflies!
While all of these meet and greets are currently spread out due to the construction of CommuniCore Hall, once the hall is complete, there will be a permanent Mickey and Friends meet and greet spot that will combine many of these into one area.
The new neighborhoods in the front of the park are a great addition, but the World Showcase takes the character meet-and-greet experience at EPCOT to a new level. The World Showcase allows you to meet Disney princesses and characters in settings that represent their home countries/regions. The Ana and Elsa meet and greet is an amazing experience that always manages to have a manageable wait despite high crowds, and Snow White is just picture perfect near her wishing well.
You can also find Mulan in China, Belle and Aurora in France, Jasmine in Morocco, Mary Poppins and Alice in England, Donald Duck in his Three Caballeros outfit in Mexico, and even Winnie the Pooh in Christopher Robin’s English bedroom!

The number and variety of characters at EPCOT are impressive, and because they are spread out around the park, the wait times are often fairly low. This means you can meet a diverse range of characters without spending too much time in line. From classic Disney friends to beloved princesses, EPCOT offers a unique opportunity to interact with a wide array of characters in their themed environments. Belle summed up the experience recently when she commented visiting EPCOT is like entering ’12 magical storybooks.’
So, if you’re a fan of Disney characters and want to make the most of your visit, EPCOT is the place to be. With its diverse range of characters and manageable wait times, you can create unforgettable memories and take plenty of photos with your favorite Disney stars. Don’t miss out on the chance to meet and greet the magical inhabitants of EPCOT on your next Walt Disney World adventure!
