By now you’ve probably heard about the exciting new attraction coming to EPCOT on May 27! That attraction is none other than the long-awaited Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! As we wait for the opening day let’s take a look at why this ride is so exciting and what makes this attraction so unique!
The Location!
So what makes this new attraction so exciting is that it’s at Disney’s EPCOT Park! EPCOT really needs a big thrill ride, as Test Track is really the only “thrill” attraction currently operating there. Having its very own huge indoor roller coaster will really vamp up the park and bring it to the next level.
The Size
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be one of the largest fully enclosed roller coasters in the world! We all know that when Disney does something, they like to go big- and this coaster will be no exception!
The Ride Vehicles
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will feature 360-degree rotating ride vehicles that allow guests to see the story before blasting back off! Of course, Disney doesn’t just build rides, but attractions that have stories behind them. This type of ride vehicle on a rollercoaster is something brand new and we can’t wait to experience it! This rollercoaster also features Disney’s first-ever backward launch!
It is Family-Friendly
While we aren’t quite sure of exact details such as how fast this new attraction will go or if there are any major drops, the ride is being labeled by Disney as being a “family-friendly” rollercoaster, so all guests 42 inches or taller will be able to experience it!
