If you love the ocean and have not made reservations to Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT, start planning your reservation! Coral Reef Restaurant, located in The Seas Pavilion is a fantastic example of Disney theming to perfection. We love that you get a front-row view of Walt Disney Worlds’ conservation efforts, all while eating a seafood meal. Seeing your food while eating seafood? We’re all about an immersive experience!
So, what can you expect from this unique dining experience? Other than fish, keep your eyes peeled for sharks, sea turtles, and rays as they swim on past! You may even spot a scuba diver or even a scuba-diving Mickey if you’re lucky! You’re also sitting in Walt Disney History. Coral Reef Restaurant opened in 1986 and you still feel the vibes of the 80’s – which we absolutely love. Full House fans also know that this historic location was one of the spots Danny Tanner attempts to propose to Vicky in the episode based in Walt Disney World. He doesn’t succeed, of course, due to his brothers who interrupt via scuba!
A kind reminder, this restaurant requires a reservation so make sure you plan ahead. The menu is a seafood lovers paradise! Plenty of options for whatever your needs may be. If you are dining with someone who may not prefer their food from the sea, there are other dishes to choose from. The dessert selections are delicious and are the only course that remains fish-free. Of course, what Walt Disney World does best is create options for everyone!
