Location: Downtown Disney District is conveniently situated off Disneyland Drive, nestled among all of Disneyland’s on-site hotels. You can access the dedicated parking lot just north of Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel. For those seeking a specific address for navigation purposes, Downtown Disney District is located at 1580 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 92802.
Early Morning Buzz: Security typically opens the gates at 7:00 AM (or an hour before the earliest park opening time). During these early hours, you’ll encounter a lively scene with hotel guests enjoying Early Entry privileges and eager park-goers “rope dropping” (racing to popular rides) – many of whom will be swiftly traversing through Downtown Disney District on their way to the theme parks.
Connectivity: Downtown Disney District seamlessly connects the three on-site Disneyland Resort Hotels: Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel. It also bridges the gap between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure via the Esplanade.
Access: You can reach Downtown Disney District through several convenient routes:
- Simba Lot: Access the district directly from the Simba Lot parking area, located near Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel.
- Theme Park Shuttles: Utilize the convenient shuttles that operate from the Mickey and Friends, Pixar Pals, and Toy Story parking structures.
- Hotel Guests: If staying off Harbor Boulevard, simply proceed through park security as usual and continue straight ahead past the theme park entrances to enter Downtown Disney District.
Dining Options: Downtown Disney District boasts a diverse culinary scene, featuring everything from stylish bowling alleys with upscale dining to charming open-air cafes.
- Reservations: For the best dining experience, we highly recommend making reservations in advance through the Disney Dining Reservations system, especially during weekends and peak travel periods.
- Walk-ins: While walk-in dining is possible, securing a table with a reservation ensures a smoother and more enjoyable experience.
- Casual Dining: Embrace the relaxed California vibe – all restaurants in Downtown Disney District offer a casual and welcoming atmosphere.
The following dining options are available at Downtown Disney:
Din Tai Fung: This world-renowned Asian restaurant from Taiwan opened July 1, 2024. Din Tai Fung specializes in dumplings and family-style Chinese cuisine. Our top tip is to try the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao with the Sea Salt Cream!
Céntrico: The newest addition to the district is a three-part restaurant. Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita share the same kitchen with completely unique menus by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. Céntrico is an open-air Mexican restaurant and bar located at the center of the walkway through Downtown. The restaurant offers a classical Mexican menu where you’ll find enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos and more.
Paseo: Paseo is located in a show-stopping dinning room right next door for a slightly more upscaled Mexican-French dinning experience. Here you’ll find everything from a bright and fresh ceviche to Chef Gaytán’s Cochinita Pibil – a recipe derived directly from his mother. Paseo’s star food item is the Mejillones – succulent mussels prepared with classic French style, with the addition of saffron, chorizo and pickled jalapeño.
Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio: Dine on fresh seafood dishes inspired by Creole and Cajun specialties and all that jazz in this two-story restaurant. You’ll find French Quarter fare such as gumbo ya-ya (as well as gumbo la-la), po’boy sandwiches, Creole crispy chicken sandwiches and a lobster & crawfish remoulade roll. Don’t worry — they have familiar, kid-friendly favorites as well.
Naples Ristorante e Bar: Naples has a gorgeous, expanded patio dining area and bar. It makes you want to sit down and chill out with a nice mocktail or maybe even something a little stronger. Naples still serves up Italian food and pizza. Share some piccoli piatti (small plates) or get started on some zuppa (soup) and insalate (salad) before digging into the hearty pasta, entrees or pizza. Save some room for tiramisu, cannoli, panna cotta with hints of orange, gelati or sorbetti.
Ballast Point Brewing Co.: This bar and restaurant offer an extensive menu of California cuisine that features local sustainable ingredients in their salads, flatbreads, small plates and entrees. It’s also serving up award-winning craft brews with the very first on-site brewery, tasting room and an outdoor beer garden in Downtown Disney.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes: Splitsville is an eclectic restaurant and entertainment spot where you will find indoor/outdoor seating either at a bowling lane or at a table. You can enjoy hand-tossed pizzas, gourmet burgers, filet sliders, grilled avocado and ahi tuna, or even sushi. They have healthy options you’ll actually want to eat. The tadpoles will enjoy pizza, grilled cheese or chicken tenders while you can dig into something a little more adventurous like short ribs or veggie bowls. Catch a game on the flat-screen TVs, or bowl a few games. There is something for everyone in this huge and unique dining space.
The Alley: The Splitsville Courtyard is a lively hub of entertainment, perfect for families with young children! Enjoy live music, play games, and savor delicious food and beverages amidst a vibrant atmosphere. Relax in comfortable lounge seating or enjoy a meal at dedicated dining areas. Earl of Sandwich: Earl of Sandwich has temporarily occupied the former La Brea Bakery location (soon to be home to Porto’s Bakery) near the Esplanade since February 1, 2023. We appreciate their delicious and affordable sandwiches.
Once Porto’s Bakery opens, Earl of Sandwich will relocate to a new spot in the Esplanade area. In the meantime, a temporary Earl of Sandwich pop-up will open near Star Wars Trading Post.
Jamba: For a smoothie or energy bowl on the go, head into Jamba. Get the kids to drink their greens for a nutritious start to their day.

Sharing a kitchen with the nearby restaurants Céntrico and Paseo, Tiendita offers a glimpse into the culinary action through its glass-walled façade.
Beignets Expressed: Indulge in classic beignets with your choice of chocolate, raspberry, or caramel dipping sauce. Feeling adventurous? Try their unique flavored beignets, or savor a variety pack featuring four delectable flavors. Pair your beignets with a refreshing non-alcoholic frozen mint julep or a decadent frozen hot chocolate made with Ghirardelli chocolate.
Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beer: Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer is a vibrant eatery known for its gourmet burgers and iconic, over-the-top CrazyShake milkshakes. This lively spot blends classic luncheonette fare with a modern twist, all set to the backdrop of old-school hip-hop tunes.
Wetzel’s Pretzels: Enjoy a fresh-baked flavored pretzel or pretzel dog with the appropriate dip, of course. Whether you go for the sinful cinnamon, cheese meltdown or pepperoni twist pretzel, be sure to wash it down with some fresh or frozen strawberry lemonade.
Marceline’s Confectionery (soon reimagined to Disney Wonderful World of Sweets): Marceline’s Confectionery, a beloved spot for indulging in sweet treats like caramel apples, crispy treats, Mickey cookies, and the irresistible churro toffee, is currently closed for an exciting transformation. While the shop is undergoing a renovation to expand its offerings, a limited selection of hand-made treats may be available at a temporary Marceline’s cart located outside the storefront.
Salt & Straw: This isn’t your average ice cream shop; they specialize in organic, handmade ice cream with incredibly creative flavors. The flavor selection is truly mind-blowing.
