Question: There are so many different staterooms to choose from on the Disney Cruise Line. What is the difference and how do I choose?
Answer: There are many options when choosing a stateroom aboard the Disney Cruise Line and the rooms fall into four main categories:
- Concierge Suites
- Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah
- Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom
- Deluxe Inside Stateroom
Let’s take a closer look at each!
The Concierge Suites offer the ultimate in both comfort and space, to meet all of your needs for both family and alone time. The top of the line accommodation is the Royal Suite with Verandah. The Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah is a very spacious stateroom with the added convenience of Concierge Services. These suites are great for larger families.
The Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms with Verandahs are spacious rooms and you are able to feel the breeze from the ocean out on your own private verandah. There are also specially themed rooms- the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Navigator’s Verandah- which feature nautical decor and a large, open-air porthole above the railing.
Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms are loaded with style and offer a stunning view of the sea though your own personal porthole. For those traveling on Deck 1, you will find two smaller portholes.
Deluxe Inside Staterooms are uncommonly roomy and feature distinguished nautical theming, natural woods and imported tiles. While there is no porthole to see outside, the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy feature virtual portholes that make you feel like you are looking outside. And, you may even be paid a visit from a Disney character!
