Question:
What is the Memory Maker? Is it worth it?
Answer:
The Memory Maker is a digital collection of all of your pictures taken while in the parks by a PhotoPass Photographer and on some rides that take your picture while on it. They have now started adding videos of the guests on certain rides. Memory Maker is $149 when purchased in advance and $199 if purchased in park. You get every picture (good and bad) that the PhotoPass Photographer takes. The PhotoPass Photographer will either scan your MagicBand or your PhotoPass Card when they are finished taking the pictures. You get the “Special Magic Pictures” they take in park and you can customize them yourself when you get home as well by adding banners and characters to them. Is it worth it? I think it depends on the family and length of trip and if you purchase pictures. We personally loved having The Memory Maker.

I agree. I take horrible pictures usually and/ or I just get so caught up in the fun I forget to take pics. So the Memory Maker works well for us and is a really good investment for us as we use the pics for holiday cards, scrapbooks, and souvenirs. I feel when I am old and gray I will want to look back at the pictures rather an a mickey ears hat or snow globe.
We love the memory maker. With 6 teen age kids, they can go off on their own and still have photos added to our account. By the time we come home we have a lot of really awesome photos and memories!
