On February 17th, 2004, Disney acquired all things Muppet! It’s only natural that they would sprinkle the Muppet magic all throughout their parks! But where can you go to enjoy it all? We’re here to guide you to the places you’re likely to see Kermit, Piggy and some other familiar faces throughout Walt Disney World Parks!

  • Muppet Courtyard (Hollywood Studios) – Nestled in Grand Avenue, the Muppet Courtyard is a fantastic get-away for anyone looking to really celebrate their inner-Muppet. When it’s not going through a refurbishment, you can find a lovely fountain with Miss Piggy, standing like the queen she is, for all the world to see! Within this courtyard, the following attractions are available for every fan to enjoy!
    1. Muppet Vision 3D (Hollywood Studios)
      • Always wanted to walk into Muppet Theater? Here you get the chance. Even the waiting area is decorated with easter eggs that every eagle-eyed fan will adore. Walk into the theater and sit in awe as the Muppets put on a show, the best way they know how!
    2. Stage 1 Company Store (Hollywood Studios)
      • After enjoying Muppet Vision 3D, head out and check out this awesome store where every fan can get their fill of Muppet memorabilia.
    3. PizzeRizzo (Hollywood Studios)
      • Before Remy, there was Rizzo! Rizzo has proven his love of food by making a place where everyone can enjoy a bite of pizza. Rats may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but this one is an exception!
  • Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue (Epcot)
    • It’s about time this Patriotic Eagle was recognized – and where better than in the American Experience! Recently opened, the Regal Eagle is the place to go if you like barbecue… and America, of course. Sam Eagles’ stoic face is emblazoned on the logo as well as merchandise you can buy as well!
  • Canceled: Great Moments in American History with The Muppets (Magic Kingdom) – Unfortunately this beloved show is no longer with us. It was available temporarily but has been taken off the Walt Disney Worlds website and there are no plans of continuing it for the future.

Even though The Muppets were purchased by the Walt Disney Company in 2004, the relationship between Disney and the Muppets has been around longer than that. Disneys latest opening of the Regal Eagle shows that The Muppets are always changing, always evolving, and will always be a huge hit when it comes to bringing them to life through Walt Disney World attractions.
