One of the best perks of opting for Disney’s Memory Maker PhotoPass service, is the magical enhancements the photographers make to some of your favorite Disney snaps, surprising you with the appearance of much-loved Disney characters. Half of the fun of going through your holiday photos is looking for these “Magic Shots” and being surprised by who has turned up.
Each Fall, as Magic Kingdom gets a spooky holiday makeover for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party and Epcot pulls out all the culinary stops for its annual Food and Wine Festival, Disney also unveils an amazing array of Magic Shots available for visiting guests. Here are five our favorites. So keep notes and see how many you can capture during your next Walt Disney World visit.
1.Hitchhiking Ghosts – You’ll find Gus, Ezra and Phineas sneaking into photos throughout the year. However, for those posing for photos outside Haunted Mansion, Halloween is definitely the perfect time of year to nab this scary snap. Just make sure one of these three Hitchhiking Ghosts doesn’t follow you home!
2. Remy – This much-loved rat (I mean Chef) from Ratatouille has been known to turn up at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This exclusive shot is only available at Epcot during the Festival (from now until November 13, 2017). You’ll normally find him around the France Pavilion.
3. Iago – Jafar’s rascally confidante for Aladdin has been known to make the rounds at PhotoPass locations through the Magic Kingdom Park or at Animal Kingdom’s Oasis during the Fall season. However, he’ll only be at these locations through November 2nd. Guests not able to make the Autumn trip can find him at Epcot’s Morocco Pavilion year-round.
4. Bubbling Cauldron – This Magic Shot featuring one of the Evil Queens potent poisonous apples from Snow White has to be one of our favorite seasonal shots. Head over to Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom Park and see if you can capture one to commemorate your Halloween visit.
5. Hyenas from the Lion King – Be careful when wondering around Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Rumor has it that Shenzi, Banzai and Ed are on the prowl and ready to sneak into one of your Autumn shots. You should be able to capture a photo with them at PhotoPass locations throughout Africa.
