The Disney Magic will return to the Big Apple in just a few weeks to offer a few limited-time-only New York City sailings departing to both the Bahamas and Canada throughout October and November. These fantastic voyages offer some of our favorite itineraries and a range of amazing activities. We’re confident you’ll love these cruises as much as we do which is why we’re sharing our Top 5 Reasons why your next cruise should be a Disney Magic cruise out of NYC.
1.Halloween on the High Seas Sailings – Halloween festivities aren’t just limited to those sailing out of Port Canaveral or visiting the Disney theme parks. Guests on the New York City sailings departing on September 27 to October 28th will get to see the Magic magically transformed into a ghoulish wonderland. Special activities during these sailings will include trick-or-treating, costume parties, scary movies at sea and deck parties just to name a few. So grab your costumes and get ready to have a spooktacular time.
2. Unleash your Inner Super Hero – Fans of Marvel both young and old won’t want to miss the Disney Magic’s Marvel Days at Sea. This exclusive event will take place for one day only on seven special sailings departing from New York City this Autumn. During Marvel Day at Sea guests will come face to face with some of their favorite Marvel Supper Heroes as well as some pretty formidable Marvel baddies. The event includes a deck show, Marvel-themed family and youth activities, special merchandise and exclusive food and beverage offerings. Marvel Days are scheduled to take place on the following sailings: Oct. 6, 14, 21 and 28, as well as Nov. 4, 11 and 18.
3. Surround Yourself in the Beauty of a New England Autumn – Disney Magic will be heading North this Autumn with special cruises to Canada from New York that make stops in beautiful seaside cities including a 7-night sailing featuring a first-ever stop on Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in addition to two stops in Nova Scotia: Sydney and Halifax. There’s also 4-night and 5-night sailings visiting Saint John, New Brunswick and a 5-night cruise to Bar Harbor. Cruises to Canada depart on Sept 27, Oct 2 and Oct 21st.
4. Head South to Disney’s Private Island- Castaway Cay – Select sailings out of New York City head to Disney’s private Bahamian Island, Castaway Cay. Here guests can enjoy a full day soaking up the rays and indulging in all the amazing activities not to mention free food and drink available on the island. As an extra bonus, guests opting for these sailings also get to enjoy a day at Walt Disney World when the Magic makes a pit stop at Port Canaveral. Best of all the day trip to the theme parks is already including in the cost of your cruise so there’s no dishing out for tickets! 7-night and 8-night southbound sailings to the Bahamas will depart from New York City on October 6, 14 and 28th as well as November 4, 11 and 18th.
5. Enjoy a Cruise With Character – Guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line for the first time are in for a real treat. There’s incredible Broadway-style entertainment, imaginative kids only spaces like Marvel’s Avengers Academy, one-of-a-kind dining experiences, and Disney characters around every corner waiting to share their day with you.
