A Disney World vacation is a big financial undertaking and it is because of this that many families think that they can’t afford to stay on property. Well, believe it or not, Disney has a place that everyone can afford. There are five amazing Value resorts, but it seems that many tend to lean towards the more expensive Pop Century and the larger than life themed Art of Animation. Both are amazing resorts, but don’t forget the other three Value Resorts, my favorite resorts of property – The All-Star Resorts!

Let’s talk about why you shouldn’t overlooked these three resorts, but instead should book your stay at one of them!

All-Star Sports, All-Star Movies, and All-Star Music are three great resorts that are situated right next to each other and all offer great, affordable, and memorable experiences for families of all sizes. They offer comfortable rooms as well as diverse dining options in their three uniquely themed food courts. My family and I have personally stayed at the two of these resorts a total of three times with a fourth time booked in just under two months! Now, onto the five reasons you should stay at one of these three resorts.

  1. Jogging Trail – If you’re like me and LOVE to indulge in Disney food, especially if you have the deluxe dining plan, you might want to do a little extra walking for running. If that’s the case then you’re in luck! A half mile jogging trail runs in front of all three resorts. Go for a morning run before you hit the parks or take a leisurely walk when you return from the parks.
  1. Close to Animal Kingdom – The closest park to these three resorts is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Until the new additions to the park are up and running many people consider this a half day park. If that’s the case for you, then the short bus ride back to the resort for an afternoon nap is great! You feel refreshed and able to take on the rest of your day.
  1. Theme – All three resorts have distinct and unique themes, all of which are great for kids! At All-Star Sports you and your kids can take to the field for memorable family pictures. Baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and surfing are represented here, and the theme carries over into the End Zone Food Court! Get ready to dance and sing at All-Star Music. Massive three-story tall maracas, drums, guitars, and jukeboxes stand outside the buildings at this resorts. If movies are your thing then All-Star Movies is the place for you. This is my favorite of the three resorts! Toy Story, Herbie the Love Bug, Fantasia 2000, The Mighty Ducks, and 101 Dalmatians all have their own sections. Woody, Buzz, Boo Peep, Pongo, Perdie all appear as three-story tall version of themselves! It is truly something that you have to experience for yourself. Each resort also has amazingly themed pools that go along with the theme of the resort. At All-Star Sports catch some waves at the Surfboard lined main pool or step up to the plate at the Grand Slam pool that’s shaped like a baseball diamond – this pool also features a Goofy statue that squirts water. True to its theme All-Star Music features pools shaped like instruments; a giant guitar pool features a statue of the Three Caballeros and the piano pool has a sprawling pool deck of black and white keys. At All-Star Movies guests can join Sorcerer Mickey in the Main Fantasia pool or take a dip in the hockey themed Might Ducks pool complete with an over-sized goal!
  1. Family Suites – The big draw for many guests to Art of Animation comes from the fact that they can accommodate larger families. Well, All-Star Music has family suites that can sleep up to 6 adults and they’re cheaper per night than the suites at Art of Animation!
  1. Affordable – Lastly, the All-Star Resorts are affordable! They offer the lowest nightly room rates (besides the campgrounds at Fort Wilderness) and they don’t scrimp on the Disney magic!

With great food options in the food courts, great rates, and amazing themes what’s stopping you from staying at one of these three amazing resorts?!
