Disney Springs, former known as Downtown Disney, at Walt Disney World is great for a visit on a down day or after a half day at the parks for dinner and a snack! There is so much to see and do at Disney Springs, that you could really spend an entire day there soaking it all in. Let’s talk about some things that you just should not miss on a visit to Disney Springs!

Goofy’s Candy Company – If you have a sweet tooth than this shop in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs is for you! Here you can customize some sweet treats with toppings of your choice for a set price. Create your own Rice Krispie Treats, Pretzels, Marshmallows, cookies, and apples! If you don’t want to customize your snack already made ones are also available from the bakery case. Goofy’s Candy Co. pre-packaged candies and other treats are also available at this super sweet location.

Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop – If ice cream or chocolate are your thing then the Ghirardelli shop is the perfect spot for you! One side of the store is all about the ice cream and the other side is all about the chocolate. Enjoy delicious ice cream creations and a free Ghirardelli chocolate square. My favorite part of this shop, besides the free piece of chocolate is the military discount! We always walk away with at least one bag of chocolate squares.

World of Disney – If you love Disney you will love this store! Anything you could ever wish to find can be found here. If you saw something in the park that you loved, but didn’t pick it up while you were there you will most probably be able to find it at World of Disney. There are rooms upon rooms of Disney – from housewares, to clothing, to toys, to pins and accessories. It is hard to walk out without purchasing something!

The Lego Store – If you have kids that love play with Legos, or if you love to build with them too, the Lego store is a great place to store by. Inside you can purchase Lego playsets or even create your own. Both inside and out there are life-size Lego sculptures that will amaze you! Also, outside there is a Lego play table where kids of all ages can enjoy building with Legos.

Any or all of the New Dining Locations – Since this area began its transformation to Disney Springs new and exciting dining options were added all over. Whether you’re looking for a snack, a casual meal, or something more upscale you can find it here at Disney Springs. The Boathouse, Morimoto Asia, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, and Vivoli il Gelato are just some of the new additions.
