With Summer at its peak, those afternoon Anaheim temperatures can get mighty toasty. Luckily Disney has crafted some pretty tasty frozen treats to help you combat the Summer heat. With this in mind, we thought we’d compile a list of some of our favorites. Make a note and head to these Disneyland eateries next time you need to cool off!
1. “It’s Lemon” – Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats- Disney California Adventure – Head on over to the all-new Pixar Pier which dazzles with its brand new array of snacking options. one of our favorites has to be this lemon-flavored soft serve in a cone. You can also get it “Snowcapped” with white chocolate topping or in a parfait with a blue raspberry swirl!
2. Supercharged Creamy Orange Shake – Flo’s V8 Cafe – Disney California Adventure Park – Next time you’re in Cars Land, be sure to make a pit stop at Flo’s for this special seasonal shake. Other varieties include vanilla chocolate and strawberry. Each of the shakes at Flo’s comes topped with “Road Gravel” their delicious cookies and cream flavored topping. Disney collectors take note, you can also get your shake in a souvenir mug!
3. Mickey and Minnie Sundaes – Clarabelle’s- Disneyland – One of our favorite places to grab an ice cream treat at Disneyland is Clarabelle’s where they serve up delicious Minnie and Minnie Sundaes complete with chocolate cookie ears, chocolate chips and more! Another of our favorite treats here is the Olaf Frozen Lemonade Bar!
4. Boysen Apple Freeze – Maurice’s Treats – Disneyland – Our favorite frozen drink at Disneyland has to bee the Boysen Apple Freeze served at this Fantasyland Snack Cart. Its made up of frozen apple juice, wild berry and is topped with a passion fruit fam. Trust us when we say that it is delicious!. Another solid option at Maurices is the Red Rose Lemonade Freeze. Both are perfect for sipping as you stroll the parks.
5. New Orleans Mint Julep – Mint Julep Bar – Disneyland – Next time you’re at Disneyland saunter on over to New Orleans Square and pick up this mocktail. It’s a combination of mint and lime that is sure to leave you feeling refreshed!
