It is no secret that Walt Disney World is home to some amazing restaurants! Whether you’re out dining at Disney Springs or at one of the theme parks, there is no shortage of great restaurants. Today, instead of giving you all my personal favorites, I went on Trip Advisor and selected some of their highest-rated locations. Let’s see which of the best restaurants in Disney made the list! Here are the top 8-
Kimonos- Craving sushi? This restaurant was voted Orlando Sentinel’s Critic’s Choice for the best sushi in Orlando! This Asian-themed restaurant is located inside the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. Specialties include Kobe beef and shrimp tempura, in addition to a variety of sushi and sashimi.
Yak & Yeti Restaurant- This restaurant is located in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. It is no surprise that this restaurant made the list, as it very often gets stellar reviews! Here guests are served a pan-Asian feast with a menu including American, Asian, Chinese, and seafood dishes. The Ahi Tuna Nachos are one of the most popular dishes here.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’- This restaurant features Florida’s freshest flavors by using local ingredients. Homecomin’ is a down-home restaurant featuring delicious comfort food. Popular items are Church Lady Deviled Eggs and of course, Fried Chicken! This restaurant is located in Disney Springs, so guests do not need park tickets or park passes to dine here.
Wine Bar George- At Wine Bar George, guests delight in a masterfully paired menu of food and wine. This restaurant is also located in Disney Springs and boasts over 140 wines by the glass! This location is definitely known for its massive wine selection and delicious small plates. Wine Bar George also serves a delicious Sunday brunch from 10:30 to 2.
The BOATHOUSE- The BOATHOUSE is one of the most popular restaurants in Disney Springs. Guests savor the best flavors of land and sea while dining here. This location is fine/signature dining and features American, Seafood, and Steakhouse cuisine. Reservations are highly recommended if you wish to dine here.
Jiko- The Cooking Place- Unfortunately, this amazing Disney restaurant is temporarily closed. Jiko- The Cooking Place is located inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in the Jambo House section. This restaurant is fine-dining and features tastes of African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine. Guests feel as though they’ve been transported to the heart of Africa when they dine here.
Shula’s Steak House- Shula’s is located inside the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort. Known of course for their mouth-watering steaks. Shula’s also offers prime rib, chicken, and salmon. The restaurant is decorated with 1972 Dolphin’s memorabilia, as it is named after Coach Don Shula. How fitting that this restaurant is located inside the Dolphin Resort? Shula’s has won multiple awards, including Critic’s Choice for Orlando’s Best High-End Steakhouse.
Victoria and Albert’s – Of course the very prestigious Victoria and Alberts tops the list. This is another restaurant that remains temporarily closed. Located inside the beautiful Grand Floridian Resort, Victoria and Alberts is an entire dining experience. Victorian elegance meets American cuisine at this signature restaurant. Victoria and Albert’s has received many awards, including AAA’s Five Diamond Award. Reservations are required here and there is an enforced dress code.
