If you’re planning on visiting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year than you know that a huge draw is meeting the special Disney Characters that come out to celebrate with theme park guests. This makes it the perfect time for character lovers to grab those cameras and autograph books and head to the parks to rub shoulders with everyone from Mickey and Minnie and the princesses to some of Disney’s scariest Villains. So what familiar Disney faces will be gracing us with their presence at this year’s party? Here’s a quick rundown of who you’ll want to me on the lookout for:
Main Street, U.S.A.
- Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater – Capture a Halloween-inspired shot of Mickey all dressed up for Halloween at his usual haunt near the entrance to the Magic Kingdom.
Liberty Square:
Jack Skellington & Sally – Definitely the big draw at each party, you’ll find Jack and Sally greeting guests in the Gazebo behind the Christmas Shop in Liberty Square. They are out for the duration of the party. However, guests hoping to get their photo snapped with the couple should line-up very early. This meet and greet tends to have the longest lines you’ll find at the party.
Adventureland:
Moana – Moana is such a popular character right now that this is another meet and greet during the Halloween Party that is destined to have long lines. You’ll find her near the Enchanted Tiki Room for the duration of the party. If meeting her is high on your priority list then head there first and get in line.
Tarzan and Jane – You’ll find this lovely couple (and maybe even Terk) as you enter Adventureland.
Jafar, Aladdin, Abu, Genie Jasmine – You can typically find Aladdin and Jasmine in the Agrabah Bazaar near the Flying Carpets of Aladdin. However, at Halloween, they have been known to bring along a friend or two. So stop by during party hours. You never know who you’ll bump into!
Captain Jack Sparrow – On party nights, you’ll typically find Captain Jack at his usual meet and greet location near Pirate so the Caribbean.
Fantasyland:
Cruella DeVil –You’ll find Cruella in Storybook Circus near Casey Jr. Splash n Soak Station and the Fantasyland Train Station.
Seven Dwarfs – Just next to Cruella you’ll find this popular Meet and Greet with all Seven Dwarfs. Lines for this can get pretty long as well but the snapshot you’ll get definitely makes it worth it!
Queen of Hearts, Alice, Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum – If Queen of Hearts is one of your favorite baddies then you’ll definitely want to head over to the area near the Mad Tea Party to say hello to her and some of her Wonderland cohorts. The Villains can always bring in a crowd so allow yourself plenty of time to join the queue and stop out during the first few hours of the party to catch her.
Ariel and Eric – Though Ariel always holds court in Fantasyland, visitors for the Halloween party are in for a special treat as Prince Eric is by her side on party nights. This is a popular couple to be snapped with so expect longer than average lines. You’ll find them near the market stall across from the Little Mermaid ride.
Belle and Gaston: Look for this tumultuous duo in New Fantasyland near Gaston’s Tavern.
Cinderella, Elena of Avalor, Tiana and Rapunzel – You’ll find the princesses holding court during party hours at Princess Fairytale Hall.
Minnie, Donald and Daisy – During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party you’ll find this loveable trio in their Halloween Finery usually in Storybook Circus!
Anastasia and Drizella – The evil stepsisters are typically out and about on party nights in their usual location near the gates to New Fantasyland
Doc McStuffins and Timon – The Disney Jr. dance party is a new offering this year designed for tiny party guests. Both Doc and Timon will be in Storybook Circus to get the fun started and to meet with fans.
Goofy- This member of the Fab 5 is also playing dress up and can typically be found in Storybook Circus near the entrance to The Barnstormer.
Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet – Our friends from the Hundred Acre Wood have been known to turn up in costume just outside the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh on party nights.
Tomorrowland:
Lotso – Part Disney baddie, part snuggly bear, you’ll find Lotso greeting guests near Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Lotso doesn’t come out very often but when he does he’s very popular so be prepared for waits.
Stitch – He’s a hunk of burning love during Halloween! You’ll find Stitch dressed up as his idol Elvis. This loveable alien will be holding court at Stitch’s Great Escape.
