Walt Disney World is so much more than just the 4 fantastic theme parks. Some of the most popular dining experiences are character dining experiences. Character breakfasts are extremely popular. While some character breakfast experiences remain closed, there are a few that are open. Let’s explore the available options!
Chef Mickey’s- Chef Mickey’s is a very popular restaurant especially known for its character breakfast. Chef Mickey’s is located inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort and is currently offering all-you-care-to-eat family-style dining. Throughout the meal, Mickey and some of his closest friends will make appearances in each of the dining rooms. The menu features traditional breakfast entrees such as Mickey Waffles and signature items like Banana Bread French Toast.
Garden Grill- Garden Grill is located inside The Land Pavilion in Disney’s EPCOT park. This restaurant is often referred to as a “hidden gem” among character dining experiences. Guests will see Chip ‘n’ Dale and other Disney friends as they dine on fresh ingredients and slowly revolve. That’s right, this restaurant actually revolves! This location is also currently offering an all-you-care-to-eat family-style meal. Keep in mind that a theme park ticket and park reservation to EPCOT will also be required to dine here.
Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera- Disney’s newest character breakfast is located inside Disney’s Riviera Resort Hotel at Topolino’s Terrace. We have been hearing rave reviews about this experience since it opened. Guests will enjoy Breakfast a la Art with Mickey, Minnie, Daisy Duck, and Donald Duck- all in special outfits unique to Topolino’s Terrace! The views from the restaurant are also stunning, and the fact that this location is accessible from Disney’s Skyliner makes it a convenient choice.
As you can see, things are slowly returning to normal and there are still character breakfasts available. We definitely recommend booking your character dining experience as early in advance as you are able, the reservations fill up fast!
