We are so excited for Typhoon Lagoon reopening on March 19th! With springtime approaching and sunny days ahead of us, we can’t wait to visit this tropical paradise and relax away from the busy crowds in the themed parks. That’s why we want to share with you 5 things you can’t miss during your next visit:

H20 GLOW AFTER HOURS

H2O Glow After Hours is returning on May 20! This amazing event offers a fun DJ dance party, complementary ice cream, popcorn and selected beverages plus illuminated fun after the park closes to the general public. An event you can’t miss.

THRILLING ATTRACTIONS

The park offers amazing attractions like Crush ‘N’ Gusher, a thrilling water coaster that features three 400 foot long tube slides or Hamunga Kowabunga that offers three adrenaline filled body slides set against the steep inclines of Mount Mayday.

There is also Miss Adventure Falls, a fast paced family raft attraction or Ketchakiddee Creek for the kids with mini waterslides!

RELAXING OPTIONS

As much as you want to have fun, taking time to relax is also important! This water park offers Castaway Creek, lazy river for a peaceful tour of the entire park.

Beachcomber Shacks is another great option to relax with a private, outdoor oasis away from the buzz of the rest of the park. These spaces are available for guests to rent during your visit and offer perks like cushioned seating, towels, a locker and souvenir reusable mugs to make you feel like you are in paraside.

DELCIOUS TREATS

Cool off with delicious treats like a Pineapple Upside Down Cone, Barbeque Chicken and Grilled Pineapple Flatbread, a Kungaloosh Kooler that features strawberry Dole Whip with a mixture of rum, orange juice and blackberry brandy floated with strawberry Fanta or an adorable Hei Hei Dole Whip!

SURF’S UP

Finally, surf in the largest wave pool in North America! It offers a picturesque view of the iconic Mount Mayday and is available for guests of all ages. There is also the option of a private surf session for small groups who want to surf but don’t need the entire pool to themselves.
