Let's Go Slurpin'

Though Blizzard Beach is currently closed for refurbishments – are you dreaming about your next visit? We’ve looked at all the restaurants, bars and lounges at both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon to help you figure out where to grab your favorite beverage for the day!

  • Blizzard Beach
    • Arctic Expeditions
      • A great stop to cool down! Arctic Expeditions has great options for margarita fans. Check out their Grand, Grapefruit and Strawberry Margs. 5 Additional Specialty Drinks are also available. If you’re interested in a bit of summer, the Black Cherry Lemonade will be sure to quench your thirst – along with the Banana Cabana, made with “Cruzan Mango Rum, Coruba Coconut Rum, Bols Crème de Banana, Orange and Pineapple Juice and a float of Grenadine”. A fantastic selection of beer and wine are also featured for those on the hunt for a little less sugar.
    • Lottawatta Lodge
      • After a day of lounging by the pool – you need to grab a substantial meal. If you trying to figure out what cocktails to pair with dinner, you can grab a Marble-rita, Piña CoLAVA, Frozen Bacardi & Coke, Frozen Jack & Coke, or your choice of beer or wine! Be sure to be on the lookout for the Beso Del Sol Sangria!
    • Avalunch
      • For a quick-service this small, you would not think any adult beverages would be available here. But Avalunch is a great stop if you’re looking for a Bud-Light, Yuengling, Samuel Adams or Beso Del Sol Sangria. You know, just to pair with your Bacon Macaroni & Cheese on a 1/4 lb All-Beef Hot Dog. Yes. It’s what you think. Bacon Mac & Cheese… on a hot dog. I’ll let you dream about that one.
    • Cooling Hut
      • Mostly a snack menu – the Cooling Hut is doing to best to live up to its name. Grab sweet treats and delicious snacks. If you’re looking for your boozy beverage, the Cooling Hut has a beer and a lovely cider. But unfortunately my friends – thats about it. So calm your sorrows with a Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar and head to the next location.
    • Frostbite Freddy’s Frozen Freshments
      • Frozen Margs and Frozen Coladas. What more do you need on a hot day? Beer fans, not to worry, Sam Adams and Bud Light are featured here. But most importantly, there is Hawaii’s Kona Longboard Island Lager which will make want to book a trip to Aulani.
    • Polar Pub
      • At the Polar Pub, you can grab a Rum Runner on the rocks made with “Don Q Cristal Rum, Blackberry Brandy, Crème de Banana and Tropical Juices topped with a float of Myers’s Original Dark Rum”. If you need to grab a refill on any of your margaritas, do so here! On the beer menu, grab Floridian locals like the Reef Donkey IPA or Key Lime Wheat Ale. Both two different flavors made in Disney Worlds home state!
    • Warming Hut
      • You’re at Bizzard Beach for goodness sakes! You’re going to need to warm up… right? Well, drinks are not the number one highlight here. Of course, they have Corona, Sangria and Bud Light, but you should pair those with Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich or the Barbecue Turkey Leg Crunch. Those two entrees are sure to highlight whatever drinks you end up ordering!

  • Typhoon Lagoon
    • Let’s Go Slurpin’
      • Looking for a selection of frozen and ice-cold drinks? This bar has exactly what you’re looking for. Stick with your Typhoon Lagoon theme and pick up a frozen Typhoon Tilly, made with “Blue Curaçao, Herradura, Sweet-and-Sour and Lime Juice”. If you need something a bit more tropical, the Captain Gems has “Mango and Coconut Rum, Blue Curaçao, Tropical Juices, Sweet-and-Sour, Grenadine and a Float of Myer’s Original Dark Rum served with a Light-up Gem”. That fantastic drink is sure to put you in a great vacation mood but you can also find wine, beer, cider, and sangria on the menu as well.
    • Leaning Palms
      • A great place for a quick bite — and a quick drink! Check out the Frozen Tropical Slushy or Frozen Tito’s Pink Surf Lemonade. Who said the kids get to have all the fun! Both drinks are catered to the inner child in all 21-year-olds and up!
    • Lowtide Lou’s
      • Lowtide Lou has your answer to – “Where can I get a Wine Slushy in this place?”. Grab Lou’s Wavy Mango Wine Slushy and thank yourself later that you did. Corona and Bud Light Lime are available here as well – along with other selections of beer.
    • Snack Shack
      • This place is known for the snacks of course! They make sure they address your drink needs by putting in a Pina Colada, Strawberry Marg, and Bud Light. But if you’ve come here and been bummed out about the number of drinks, fear not. The Smoked Fish Dip made with “Smoked Fish with Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Jalapeño, Worcestershire Sauce, Onion and Celery served with Townhouse Crackers” are sure to cure whatever craving you may have!
    • Typhoon Tilly
      • What a great lunch stop. Typhoon Tilly makes sure that fish is the highlight. Check out their Fish Basket, Fish Tacos, or the Fish Sandwich made with “Beer-battered Fish with Chipotle Slaw and Potato Chips on a Brioche Bun with Apple Slices or Steak Fries”. All will make your mouth water. Ask for Maine’s Sea Dog Sunfish or a Blue Tidal Wave made with Titos Vodka to pair with your food.

Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon may not be known for their drinks but you’re sure to find many cool options while out and about on your hot sun-filled days. Grab some of the amazing snacks as well and remember – calories don’t exist on vacation! Right?
