On December 21st, 1937 – Walt Disney released the first full-length animated feature film. Now, 86 years later – the film still holds just as much magic as it did on the day of its release. It is a simple story of a young girl given a second chance to escape from her Evil Stepmother and makes 7 new friends. You don’t need me to tell you the plot – and if you do, maybe it’s time for you to check out Snow White on Disney+.
If you’re making your way to Walt Disney World and would like to celebrate the 86 years since Snow White’s release, we’ve listed 5 attractions you can see in order to celebrate Snow White the proper way at the parks and Disney Springs. Let us know in the comments below if you’ll be celebrating!
- Meet Snow White in Germany
- Around the EPCOT World Showcase in Germany, Snow White awaits. By her wishing well of course – where else would she be? Take time out of your trip and check her Meet and Greet times to catch her at the Germany pavilion. A must-see!
- Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White
- Located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, you can dine with the dwarfs at Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow white. Here, you’ll spot Snow White, the 7 Dwarfs, and of course, the Evil Stepmother. The menu is delicious but make sure you check out dining reservations before you go!
- Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade
- The Princesses make their way to the streets of Walt Disney World for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. Keep your eyes peeled for Snow White – as well as a few dwarfs. This is obviously subject to change but regardless if Snow is there or not, the parade is still fun to watch.
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Nestled in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland, Snow White gets a coaster attraction that has fans lining up. This ride is a crowd favorite for young and old. We love the ride but also love the ending scene that you pull up next to.
- Themed Dining
- Throughout the parks, you can find many opportunities to meet and dine with princesses and Snow White often makes her rounds. Check out dining destinations such as Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for their princess dining experience!
