Muppets Easter Eggs

A Guide to the Muppets Easter Eggs at Rock n Roller Coaster!

If you thought Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets was just a high-speed thrill, think again. The volume is being turned waaaay way up for Muppet fans, and for fans of going zero to 60 in three seconds flat, as you race across town to the biggest, loudest, most psychedelic Electric Mayhem concert of your life. But, my groovy friends, it’s not just about the destination; it’s also about the beautiful, nostalgic journey to get there.

The reimagined G-Force Records building at the end of Sunset Boulevard is less like a standard theme park queue and more like an exclusive, backstage pass to The Muppets greatest hits. From the moment you step inside the doors, now under the wacky management of Muppet real estate tycoon J.P. Grosse, you are instantly wrapped in a warm blanket of childhood memories, surrounded by props, visual gags, and the chaotic spirit of the Muppets themselves.

Every corner features Muppets easter eggs, proving just how much love Walt Disney Imagineering poured into this attraction, allegedly with a little curation help from Yolanda the Rat. Best of all, a massive piece of our hearts has been preserved here, as many iconic items from the beloved MuppetVision 3D have officially moved in.

Your nostalgic VIP tour kicks off in the Gallery Case Room, where you are treated to an in-progress exhibit. Right off the bat, you’ll spot a moi-focused tribute to the one and only Miss Piggy, featuring her iconic pink and green polka dot dress and matching hat. Music lovers will get a bit misty-eyed seeing a meticulous recreation of Kermit’s original banjo of The Rainbow Connection fame, placed there by the Walt Disney Archives. And because it wouldn’t be a record label without a nod to the loudest rockers in town, Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem are represented by Floyd and Janice’s actual, original guitars from The Muppet Show.

Once you grab your VIP passes, you head out into the alley where your rockin’ L.I.M.O. (Lengthy Immediate Motion Object) awaits, but you’ll want to slow your roll to take in the sheer volume of Easter eggs scattered outside. Keep your eyes peeled for actual shipping crates transported from the MuppetVision 3D queue, and look closely to find Statler and Waldorf’s literal theater chairs nestled away. The Great Gonzo has also left his mark, advertising “Gonzo’s Stunt School – Hollywood” with his classic pre-show banner, his stunt airplane, and even the exact cannon the penguins used to aim at the Swedish Chef.

If you look around the alley’s fire escapes, you’ll catch a laundry line hanging Fozzie’s bowtie, a PizzeRizzo apron, and a flyer asking if anyone has seen Bean Bunny, who has apparently run away again. You’ll even spot the Mona Lisa from Mama Melrose and a giant blast off billboard for Pop Off, which is a beautiful nod to the spot where Fozzie hid his Studebaker in The Muppet Movie.

Before you launch, you’ll cruise past the Muppet Labs Parking Garage, where Bunsen and Beaker have been hilariously tasked with the Automotive Division. They’ve parked the tiny Interpol Car from Muppets Most Wanted right in the garage. If you look closely, you’ll also see the fan-favorite Muppet Mobile Labs vehicle, which has spent years delighting guests across EPCOT, California Adventure, and Hong Kong Disneyland, now permanently resting its wheels here.

Then comes the launch. When you’re not scream-singing the lyrics to the rockin’ music onboard, try to keep your eyes wide open as you blast down the Hollywood 101 Freeway. In a flash of neon, you’ll whiz past World Wide Studios, the famous movie studio from the climax of The Muppet Movie. You’ll also spot the glowing PizzeRizzo sign making a cameo along the highway, a Waldo crossing sign honoring the Spirit of 3D, and a literal sign reading “Obligatory Easter Egg” because, well, it wouldn’t be a Muppet production without breaking the fourth wall.

As your limo finally coasts to a stop backstage at the concert, the nostalgia hits a beautiful crescendo. Looking down on you with their signature judgment are two people who absolutely refuse to rock on: Statler and Waldorf. Your eyes do not deceive you, those are the actual animatronics from MuppetVision 3D, still heckling guests from above. Finally, in a moment that will surely bring a smile to every lifelong fan, the legendary portrait of Jim Henson as a Muppet, which used to hang in the rafters of the old pre-show, now hangs proudly over the exit. It’s a groovy, heartwarming, totally radical tribute, ensuring we can all keep moving right along for years to come.
