Pull out the Christmas playlist because Magic Kingdom is officially getting festive! The Magic Kingdom Christmas decorations are going up all over the park, and we took a stroll from Town Square all the way back to Storybook Circus to see what is already in place.
Holidays at Walt Disney World officially runs from Friday, November 13, 2026, through Tuesday, January 6, 2027, but you do not have to wait that long to feel the holiday spirit. Here is our walk through the park, land by land.
Main Street U.S.A. and the Giant Christmas Tree
Your stroll starts with the showstopper. The giant Christmas tree is already standing tall in Town Square, and it is gorgeous up close. Look for giant popcorn garland, red bows, bells, candles, gingerbread cookies, rocking horses and shiny baubles, all topped with a golden star.

Just past the train station, festive displays of oversized presents, a teddy bear and toy soldiers make for a cheerful first photo stop.

Garlands and wreaths are popping up all around Town Square too. City Hall is wrapped in greenery and red bows, the train station tunnel has a big wreath overhead, and you will find poinsettia wreaths tucked into the walkways.

Main Street Firehouse Holiday Touches
Do not skip the Main Street Firehouse! Outside, the balcony is dressed with garland and red bows. Step inside and you will find evergreen garland with glowing lights, red bows and ornaments stretched across the stalls. It is one of the coziest little spots near the entrance.

Further Down Main Street U.S.A.
Keep walking toward the castle and the holiday magic just keeps going. White arches carry evergreen wreaths with red bows and gold ornaments, the lampposts wear wreaths of their own, and the Victorian facades are draped in garland from porch to balcony. The Town Square gazebo is wrapped up too.

Cinderella Castle Holiday Decorations
At the hub, Cinderella Castle is getting into the spirit. The forecourt wall is lined with evergreen garland and red and gold ribbon, the stage stairs and railings have matching garland, and the hub lampposts are topped with big festive wreaths.

Frontierland and Liberty Square Holiday Decorations
Head left and the frontier gets a rustic holiday makeover. The Frontierland entrance sign is draped with garland, and Frontier Trading Post has greenery and lanterns all along its porch. Over in Liberty Square, a lantern by the welcome plaque wears a red holiday bow and the Liberty Square sign has its own little wreath.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Holiday Decorations
In Fantasyland, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has some of the most fun details in the park. The attraction sign has a wreath and garland, and a nearby Christmas tree is loaded with mining-themed ornaments like gem-filled buckets, pickaxes, lanterns and twig snowflakes. Baskets of colorful jewels and a tiny wooden mine cart sit at the base.

Winnie the Pooh Holiday Decorations
Right next door, the Hundred Acre Wood is ready for gift-giving. The queue garden at The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is filled with oversized presents for Eeyore, Piglet, Rabbit and Tigger, plus a dripping hunny pot gift. Even the attraction sign is dressed up with honeycomb wreaths.

Storybook Circus Holiday Decorations
Storybook Circus is next, and it is so festive! The entrance pillars are wrapped in white garland with red ornaments and bows, the character banners are trimmed with greenery and gold stars, and a Dumbo lamppost wears a green wreath with a red bow.

Main Street U.S.A. at Night
Now head back to Main Street after the sun goes down, because this is when it really shines. The wreaths glow over the street, the facades sparkle and Cinderella Castle lights up at the end of it all.

The Magic Kingdom Christmas Tree Lit Up
And then there is the tree. Lit up at night, the Magic Kingdom Christmas tree glows in blue and white in Town Square, with the gazebo shining right beside it. It is pure Christmas magic.

More Magic Kingdom Christmas Decorations on the Way
Not everything is finished yet. Installation is still in progress, and some favorites are still missing, including the character decorations guests usually spot right at the park entrance. Expect even more to pop up before the season officially starts on November 13.

Our Take
Honestly, that first walk down a Christmas-ready Main Street never gets old. The tree alone is worth the trip, and little surprises like the Mine Train ornaments and the Pooh gift boxes make the whole park feel like a holiday storybook. We cannot wait to see it once every last piece is up!
