The Enchanting Extras Collection affords unique experiences for your next visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The Enchanting Extras collection is a group of Walt Disney World experiences that can greatly enhance your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Enchanting Extras are available at all Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Springs. The collection affords additional add-ons to your visit, with separate park tickets required to participate in all experiences that occur within one of the theme parks. Today, we are going to take a look at the Enchanting Extras that are available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.

Wild Africa Trek
Looking to take your Animal Kingdom journey to new heights? Then the Enchanting Extras Collection The Wild Africa Trek may be just what you are looking for. Featuring a rope bridge, a ride in a safari vehicle, and a trek across a grassland path, this 3-hour long privately guided tour will provide the opportunity to view a variety of African creatures, including giraffes, crocodiles, hippos, and rhinos.
The tour includes a souvenir, photo pass service, and an array of African-inspired snacks, such as hummus with mini pita, chicken curry salad, and beef and prosciutto.
Note this is a true immersion adventure that requires guests to have good physical stamina, comfort with heights, and the ability to negotiate small hills, foliage, and unsteady rope bridges. Guests must be between 45 and 300 lbs. with the harness gear on, 8 years of age or older, and at least 48 inches tall. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult (18 years of age or older).
Savor the Savanna
Guests looking to explore the savanna in a manner that is a bit more laid back than the Wild Africa Trek should check out Savor the Savanna. This Enchanting Extra includes a ride in a safari vehicle and the opportunity to take in the African wildlife while enjoying a selection of regional beer and wine offerings paired with African-inspired cuisine. A tour guide will provide expert insight into the animals, and is available to answer questions.
Note, guests must be at least 8 years of age to participate in this experience and all guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult (18 years of age or older). Guests in ECVs will need to transfer into an available wheelchair to participate in the tour. This excursion occurs rain or shine, with the exception of severe weather or lightning.
Caring for Giants
Lovers of elephants will go crazy for the Caring for Giants experience, a 60-minute experience during which a knowledgeable guide will provide insight into the day-to-day care of the Elephants at Animal Kingdom. Caring for Giants affords participants the ability to observe Elephants from as close as 80 feet away!
Note guests must be at least 4 years of age to participate in the Caring for Giants Enchanting Extras experience, and all guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult (18 years of age or older). All guests must walk by themselves, or be assisted by a member(s) of their party in a courtesy wheelchair to participate.
Up Close With Rhinos
Is getting up and close to Earth’s second-largest land animal on your bucket list? Then the Up Close With Rhinos adventure is for you! This 60-minute long experience is guided by an expert guide and affords backstage access to get an up close and personal experience with the white rhinoceros.
Note guests must be at least 4 years of age to participate in the Caring for Giants Enchanting Extras experience, and all guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult (18 years of age or older). All guests must walk by themselves, or be assisted by a member(s) of their party in a courtesy wheelchair to participate.

Capture Your Moment-Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Celebrating a special event, like an anniversary, engagement, or birthday while visiting Animal Kingdom? Then the Capture Your Moment experience may be the perfect Enchanting Extra for you and your family! Capture Your Moment is a 20-minute personalized photo session that affords professional photos with Animal Kingdom as the backdrop.
The sessions will take place in one location in Animal Kingdom, during which your entire family can capture their perfect Animal Kingdom photos. While the photos are not included in the cost of the Capture Your Moment session, guests who purchase the Memory Maker will have access to download and share the photos. The sessions are very popular, so advanced reservations are highly recommended!
