Superheros You Can Meet
Captain America
Your favorite all-American hero, Captain America will be striking a patriotic pose at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard. Make sure to check out his indestructible shield made from vibranium!
Thor and Loki
Asgard’s royal heir is on-guard eager to meet you and share his galactic adventures. I’m not sure if Thor will let you try and hold his Mjolnir (hammer). Remember, the side of the hammer carries the inscription “Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.”
You can also challenge the galaxy’s most swindling trickster the God of Mischief, Thor’s meddling brother, to witty banter and a photo opp.
Black Panther
Show your respect to the king of Wakanda as you encounter the strength of T’Challa and his guard, the Dora Milaje. “Wakanda forever!”
Black Widow
Make sure to visit this world-class athlete, gymnast, acrobat, aerialist, expert martial artist, and all around awesome spy! Natasha Romanoff may share her secret missions with you daily in Hollywood Land.
Hawkeye
This villain turned Avenger is a must see! Show your steady hands and think fast when you meet sharp-shooter Hawkeye. Be careful, I hear he is a pretty good shot!
Captain Marvel
Awe at Captain Marvel’s extraordinary power as you pose with her and her F-15 Eagle fighter jet at the new Hangar 12 located in Hollywood Land.
Spider-Man
Feel your spidey senses tingle as you meet your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man at the Brownstone Building on Sunset Boulevard.
Star-Lord, Gamora, and Groot
Groove and dance with the Star-Lord himself along with Gamora at the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off! in front of the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Once things get going, Groot makes an appearance at the party!
Where to Find Your Favorite Superhero
Make sure you have downloaded the Disneyland mobile app. At the top of the map screen, you can click for a dropdown menu. Select characters. A bunch of Mickey’s heads will appear. Make your way over to Hollywood Land and click on a Mickey. The characters that appear in that location will show up. You can then click on a particular character and more information will show.
On this screen, you can see where and when to find your favorite superhero!
How to Experience More Superhero Fun
While you are in Disney’s California Adventure park make sure to ride Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! This ride is one of the top 5 attractions chosen by our Disney Addicts! The soundtrack alone is worth it!
