You can find ice cream at nearly every restaurant and quick-service location but the following places are some of our favorites to grab a cone, shake, sundae, float, etc.
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor – Disneyland
At this old-fashioned ice cream parlor hosted by Dreyer’s, you’ll find sweetly nostalgic sundaes dressed up with freshly baked waffle cups and cookies. Or keep it classic with floats, hand-scooped cups, and cones. You’ll find this ice cream location on Main Street U.S.A.
The Golden Horseshoe – Disneyland
You will find this classic restaurant in Frontierland. Besides being a great place for a meal and a show, The Golden Horseshoe has some delicious ice cream desserts! There are two amazing sundaes to choose from plus a float and mini ice cream sandwiches.
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop – Disney California Adventure
Located in the Pacific Wharf area of the park, you can strike it rich with sublime sundaes, ice cream cones, shakes, and hot drinks made with premium Ghirardelli chocolate. The Ocean Beach Sea Salt Caramel Sundae is to die for!
Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream – Disney California Adventure
In the moood for something delicious? Customize a hand-dipped ice cream bar or treat yourself to a sundae, cone or cup at this Buena Vista Street ice cream parlor. This is also where you will find the famous Kitchen Sink Sundae served in a souvenir Mickey or Minnie kitchen sink.
Salt & Straw – Downtown Disney District
If you won’t be heading to the theme parks but need a cool, sweet treat, check out this family-run scoop shop! Stop by for handmade, small-batch, seasonal flavors created with local ingredients in collaboration with artisans, chefs, and farmers. You’ll find classic flavors like Double Fold Vanilla and Chocolate Gooey Brownie, as well as more interesting flavors like Black Olive Brittle & Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese and Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper.
