While a trip to Aulani any time soon may not be in the stars for many of us, we can bring a taste of the iconic Disney Hawaiian resort right into our own homes! Break out your lei, pretend you’re lounging under a palm tree, and hang loose with one of these 5 refreshing Aulani-inspired cocktails!

1. True Blue Hawaii-

INGREDIENTS-

  • 1 ounce sweet and sour
  • 2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce Koala Light Rum
  • 1 ounce Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • 1/2 ounce Bols Blue Curacao
  • Pineapple wedge for garnish

DIRECTIONS-

  • Pour sweet & sour mix, rum, vodka and Blue Curacao in mixing glass full of ice
  • Shake for 30 seconds
  • Pour into a tall glass, garnish with a pineapple wedge

True Blue Hawaiian

2. Skinny Rita-

INGREDIENTS-

  • 2 ounces Patron silver tequila
  • 1 ounce agave nectar
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • Zico coconut water
  • Lime wedge for garnish

DIRECTIONS-

  • Pour ingredients into a shaker
  • Shake well for 30 seconds
  • Strain into a tall glass of ice

3. Hanalei by the Bay-

INGREDIENTS-

  • 1 1/2 ounces of Hendricks Gin
  • St-Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • Tonic water

DIRECTIONS-

  • Pour gin, Elderflower Liqueur, and lime juice into a shaker
  • Shake for 30 seconds
  • Strain into a tall glass of ice
  • Top with tonic water

Tropical Mai Tai

 

4. Tropical Mai Tai-

INGREDIENTS-

  • 1/2 ounce Odwalla Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce Old Lahaina Silver Rum
  • 1/2 ounce Monin Orgeat Syrup
  • 1/2 ounce Bols Orange Curacao
  • 1 ounce Whaler’s Dark Rum
  • Thin pineapple half-moon and a layer of FOMZ Passionfruit Mango foam for garnish

DIRECTIONS-

  • Pour lime juice, pineapple juice, Old Lahaina Silver Rum, Orange Curacao, and Orgeat Syrup in mixing glass, fill with ice
  • Shake 30 seconds
  • Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice
  • Add a float of Whaler’s Rum and the layer of FOMZ Passionfruit Mango foam
  •  Garnish with the thin pineapple half moon

5. Mango Mojito

INGREDIENTS-

  • 2 ounces Old Lahaina Silver Rum
  • Fresh Mango puree
  • fresh mint leaves
  • Soda Water

DIRECTIONS-

  • Pour rum, mango puree and mint leaves into glass and muddle
  • Pour the mixture onto a tall glass of ice and stir
  • Top with soda water

Although we may not all be able to travel to Disney’s Aulani Resort any time soon, we can hit the liquor store, recreate these cocktails, and turn our own backyard into a tropical oasis!
