We posted earlier today about all of the amazing fun you could have at Walt Disney World on PhotoPass Day and tonight we are pleased to share a sneak peek of the fun that awaits visitors to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park on August 19th! PhotoPass Day is held annually and celebrates Disney’s incredible PhotoPass packages as well as the amazing photographers that help preserve those vacation memories. Here’s a look at the fun that awaits at both parks.
Disneyland Park
Character Experiences:
- Meet Marie- Head over to Toon Park in Mickey’s Toontown to meet this lovable character from the Aristocats. She’ll be on hand to pose with guests from 9am – 3:30pm.
- Meet Hook and Mr. Smee- You’ll find these scallywags near “it’s a small world” from 8am – 2pm.
Additional photo opportunities (available until 7 p.m.):
- Dumbo Magic Shot- It’s a bird, it’s a plane no it’s Dumbo. Get this incredible shot near Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Mickey Ice Cream Bar Magic Shot- Pose with one of Disney’s most iconic snacks near the flagpole at Town Square
- Fairy Wings Magic Shot- Show off your brand new set of wings with this Magic Shot on offer near Pixie Hollow
- Mickey Pretzel Prop Shot- Pay tribute to one of your favorite Disney treats with this photo op in front of Main Street Photo Supply Co.
Disney California Adventure Park
Character Experiences:
- Meet Joy and Sadness: Two of Riley’s emotions from Inside Out will be posing with guests at Paradise Gardens Park across from Jumpin’ Jellyfish from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Doctor Strange or Loki Heroic Encounter: If you’re mad for Marvel than the place to be is near the Hollywood Backlot Stage from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Additional photo opportunities (available until 7 p.m.):
- Koda Magic Shot- Brother Bear fans should head to the sawmill in Grizzly Peak for this special Magic Shot
- Huey, Dewey and Louie Magic Shot- Add an appearance from Donald’s mischevious nephews to your Disney Photo. Head to the entrance to the Hyperion Theater
- Russell’s Grape Soda Bottlecap Pin Prop Shot-Show your love for all things “Up!” with this prop shot near the Grizzly Peak waterfall
- Piston Cup Prop Shot- Show off your winning spirit with this shot taken near the entrance to Cars Land
- Clapperboard Prop Shot- You’ll find this prop paying tribute to Hollywood near the “Storytellers” statue on Buena Vista Street
