Disneyland is paying tribute to Women’s History Month with a variety of offerings!
When you visit the resort you will find that they are celebrating women and their inspiring contributions through art, song, food and stories in many ways. In fact, as soon as you step into Downtown Disney District, you will be welcome with a offerings like:
ART
When it comes to art you have to check out Marcella Swett work, you might actually remember her for her work during the Celebrate Soulfully celebration in February. She is a senior production artisan with Disney Life Entertainment, an award-winning visual artist and native Southern Californian whose career has spanned more than three decades! Go Marci!
Well this month she will be back from March 15-31 with two different designs honoring women, you can find her near Downtown Disney LIVE! stage, so definitely stop by and admire her stunning art work.

FOOD
Over at Sprinkles, you will find their first Female Chef Series for Women’s History Month! Chef Brooke Williamson crafted a delicious Dark Chocolate Passion Fruit cupcake that features dark chocolate cake filled with a passion fruit curd, so good! You can to try it starting today March 13.
Sprinkles is also making a donation to the Step Up Network to help empower young women with the skills and resources to reach their full potential.
MERCHANDISE
Empower those women around you with a 3D greeting card from Lovepop! You will find cards with phrases like “Stronger Together” and “Girl Power”, as well as, a pop-up card of Star Wars Princess Leia.

Then, over at Disneyland, you will be welcomed with Minnie Mouse as the main star! A floral Minnie was designed by the Disneyland Resort Horticulture Specialist Stacy Wise and a team of 13 horticulturists. In fact, Minnie’s bow only consist of 750 individual Nemesia flowers, and the display overall has 1,900 individual plants including pansies, violas and petunias! She is adorable!
Finally, don’t forget to check out the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival mural designed by artist Casey Ligon on the west end of the promenade!
