As we keep moving forward in the world, with more people vaccinated and restrictions starting to loosen up a bit, we also start to see changes at Walt Disney World regarding temperature checks, face masks and social distancing.
One of the major changes that happened recently at the parks was the face mask mandate outdoors. Guest can now go maskless if they choose to do so when in outdoor, not crowded areas. While they are still required to wear a mask in all indoor locations.
Another change we have been seeing recently is social distancing at the parks, including attractions and rides. If you have been at the parks recently, you must have noticed the social distancing marks are gone, and things like plexiglass also disappeared from several attractions.
MAGIC KINGDOM
- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress
- Country Bear Jamboree
- Mickey’s Philharmagic
- Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
- Splash Mountain
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
ANIMAL KINGDOM
- Expedition Everest
- Flight of Passage
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Muppets Vision 3D
- Slinky Dog Dash
EPCOT
- Frozen Ever After
Some of these attractions still have social distancing markers in the indoor queue area, just the extended outdoor one has been modified.

Other areas that have removed social distancing markers are the entrance of the four theme parks, and in some shows like Muppets Vision 3D, guests are not being seated with just 1 seat between parties instead of a full row.
So even if restrictions are starting to loosen up, is good to be considerate and keep taking precautions in order to keep everyone safe and healthy.
