21 years ago to day Disney California Adventure park opened at the Disneyland Resort! When the park first opened it felt smaller and could easily be done in half a day. Now, the park is full of exciting experiences and you need at least a full day to enjoy it all. At Disney California Adventure you can watch your favorite Disney stories come to life! Carsland
Enter the little town of Radiator Springs from Disney Pixar’s Cars! You don’t want to miss taking a ride on Radiator Springs Racers. This attraction is extremely popular so get there early or purchase Lightning Lane access. Grab a snack from Cozy Cone Motel to enjoy while you meet some of the residents of Radiator Springs, like Mater or Lightning McQueen.
Avengers Campus
The newest land to open in Disney California Adventure takes you to Avengers Campus where you can encounter the Earth’s mightiest heroes! Help Spider-Man stop spider bots on WEB Slingers, head to Pym’s Test Kitchen for a bite (big or small), and learn how to protect the multi-verse from Doctor Strange himself at the Ancient Sanctum.

Pixar Pier
Originally known as Paradise Pier, Pixar Pier is home to your favorite Pixar characters and attractions! Take a thrilling ride on the Incredicoaster, play interactive carnival games with Buzz Lightyear and Woody on Toy Story Midway Mania, or take a rootin tootin spin on Jessie’s Critter Carousel. There are so many options for snacks in Pixar Pier but if you’re looking for a nice place to sit and eat, make a reservation at Lamplight Lounge.
Those are just a few of the things we love at Disney California Adventure! The park is also home to different festivals and celebrations throughout the year. Right now, you can celebrate the Lunar New Year with special foods, characters and merchandise. Coming next month is the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. The park will have over a dozen food marketplaces, food demonstrations, and live music! This park is not to be missed when visiting the Disneyland Resort!
