A trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess makeover is a rite of passage for kids on their Disney World and Disneyland vacations, but did you know that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is also available on all four of the Disney Cruise ships? There are some differences in how you book your visit as well as the packages offered on Disney Cruise Line – read on to learn more!
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers a variety of fun makeover transformations sure to please the little princess or prince in your life. Available for children ages 3 – 12, all packages include the choice of a variety of hairstyles, sparkling makeup and nail polish. Costumes are available for purchase at the boutique, including a variety of princesses and some styles that are exclusive to Disney Cruise Line. My daughter was able to choose an adorable mermaid outfit, complete with tail. Young sailors also have the option to transform into a knight or ship captain.
A variety of package options are available, starting with the Crown package at $64.95 and all the way to the exclusive Royal Sea Package that includes a Princess Royal Rolling Trunk, for $595.00. Be aware that the availability of costume styles and sizes will vary on each voyage. You can expect to spend about an hour in the boutique for your child’s makeover and plan to arrive about fifteen minutes in advance.
On Pirate Night, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique transforms into the Pirates League and offers swashbuckling makeovers to get your entire family (ages 3 and up) ready for the evening’s festivities. The pirate makeovers take about 30 minutes and include a facial effect for boys and men, shimmering makeup for girls and women, a bandana, earring, eyepatch, tattoo and necklace to complete the look. These basic packages start at $44.95. There are also packages available that include costumes for an additional charge.
If you are sailing on a voyage that includes a Star Wars Day at Sea, there are special transformations available that day for anyone 3 and over that will allow them to become their favorite Star Wars character.
For sailings departing May 3, 2019 and beyond, appointments for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (and Pirates League) can be made after final payment has been received as part of the Port Adventure and onboard activity booking process. Simply select an appointment time and make your package selection once you arrive at the boutique. You can also make an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique once on board the ship, but beware that these appointments are very popular and fill up quickly.
