Does the Disney Cruise Line Do Anything Special for Thanksgiving?

disney cruise line

My family is thinking of sailing on a Disney Cruise this Thanksgiving.  Are there any special activities to celebrate the holiday?

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to spend time with family and reflect on everything you have to be thankful for.  The Disney Cruise Line will do everything it can to make sure that this is the most relaxing Thanksgiving ever!  If you are sailing on Thanksgiving Day, the Disney ships will feature a variety of activities, such as:

  • A traditional turkey dinner- that you don’t have to cook or clean up the mess!!!
  • Disney characters in holiday themed costumes
  • Special football offerings
  • Holiday decor, including those lovable towel animals in festive, Thanksgiving creations

In addition, the Thanksgiving festivities also overlap with the Very Merrytime cruises.  So you can continue to celebrate the season once Thanksgiving is over.  The Disney Cruise Line over the holidays is a great time to spend with loved ones and reconnect in only a way Disney can make possible.

This year, the following sailings take place over Thanksgiving:

  • 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise on the Disney Magic, leaving on November 20th
  • 3-Night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Dream, leaving November 25th
  • 7-Night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Wonder, leaving on November 25th
  • 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise on the Disney Fantasy, leaving on November 26th

I’d love to help you find the perfect sailing for your family to spend together time and celebrate the holidays at sea.  Email me at tricia@worldofmagictravel.com to chat about your upcoming holiday adventure.  You can find me on Facebook to keep up with the latest Disney news, promotions and events, too!
