The Pineapple Dole Whip and the Citrus Swirl are two of the most popular, refreshing treats at the Magic Kingdom. You definitely do not want to miss trying at least one of them, if not both. Located in Adventureland, the desserts are steps away from each other. There is a lot of debate as to which of them is the most delicious snack option. I lean towards the Pineapple Dole Whip myself, but they are both tasty and perfect on a hot day.
Pineapple Dole Whip
Pineapple Dole Whips are a non-dairy soft serve frozen treat served at Aloha Isle next to the Magic Carpets of Aladdin attraction. This tropical treat can be ordered a few different ways. Try a Pineapple Dole Whip in a cup for the straight, non-flourished version or a Pineapple Dole Whip swirled with vanilla soft serve in a cup for a twist on the classic. There is also the more decadent Pineapple Float, which is the frozen treat served with pineapple juice (with or without the swirl). The classic Pineapple Dole Whip in a cup is also gluten-free, which makes this a perfect snack for those with gluten allergies.
For those looking for a bit more of a tart flavor, the Citrus Swirl can be found at Sunshine Tree Terrace across from the Swiss Family Treehouse. This tasty treat is a swirl of frozen orange juice slushy and vanilla soft-serve ice cream. It’s like sipping on sunshine with a bit of a punch! Much like the Dole Whip, the Citrus Swirl can be ordered a couple of ways: the traditional Citrus Swirl in a cup or a float with Orange Soda. The Citrus Swirl even has its own adorable mascot, The Orange Bird.

While the Dole Whip has the sweeter, tropical pineapple flavor, the Citrus Swirl is a bit more tart with the combination of the frozen orange juice and vanilla soft-serve. The various options can also be purchased using a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Try them both and decide for yourself which is your favorite.
