World Celebration Gardens
The World Celebration area features some beautiful planters, trees, and gardens! The gardens are located between Spaceship Earth and the World Showcase neighborhood. They are part of a years-long overhaul of Epcot and are located next to the recently opened Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
At night, the area (including the ground) lights up! The ground now has light strips that synchronize with the Spaceship Earth shows. Not only does the ground lighting go with the Spaceship Earth shows but also the new lamp posts sync with everything as well. Even the trees sparkle!
Dreamers Point
As part of the broader World Celebration Gardens, Dreamers Point is poised to become a hub for relaxation, rejuvenation, and connection. Each garden within this central area draws on the architectural legacy of EPCOT, incorporating modern lighting elements and a rich variety of natural textures. The main focus of Dreamers Point is the new statue of Walt.
Titled “Walt the Dreamer,” the new statue captures Walt in a later stage of his life, immersed in the visionary process of conceiving the Florida Project and the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Seated with a profound sense of fulfillment, he relishes the beauty of his realized dream—a park that embodies pure optimism and embraces the enchantment of endless possibilities.
“Walt the Dreamer” at Dreamers Point is a tribute not only to the man who sparked the Disney legacy but also to everyone who steps into EPCOT daily, embracing the limitless potential and possibilities our world has to offer. The unveiling of this statue adds another layer of enchantment to the park, ensuring that Walt’s dream lives on in the hearts of all who visit EPCOT.
Luminous the Symphony of Us
A brand new nighttime spectacular, “Luminous the Symphony of Us,” will bring guests together around World Showcase Lagoon and shine a light on the shared experiences that connect people across the globe. With a dazzling display of fireworks, fountains, lights and music, the new show will be the perfect finale to a memorable day at EPCOT.
Much like a beautiful piece of music, “Luminous the Symphony of Us” is made up of a series of movements representing common themes of the human experience. Guests can expect to hear new arrangements of iconic Disney hits that enliven the story, including:
- Stirring, multilingual arrangements of “You’ll Be in My Heart” and “Proud Corazón”
- Classic songs like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and “Friend Like Me”
- A sweeping arrangement of “So Close,” from Disney’s “Enchanted”
- Heartfelt renditions of “When She Loved Me,” “Remember Me” and “Into the Unknown”
- A crescendo of music featuring “I See the Light” from “Tangled,” which launches into the finale.
Enveloping these movements are two new, original songs written exclusively for the show: “Heartbeat Symphony” and “Beating of our Hearts.”
