Guests at Walt Disney World have been able to reap the benefits of Disney’s Mobile Ordering service, allowing visitors to order quick service meals in advance using your mobile phones for over a year now. The service was first offered during the opening of Pandora-World of Avatar back in May 2017. As we hit the one year anniversary of this revolutionary new service, Disneyland Resort has announced that the service will now be available at locations throughout Disneyland and California Adventure. To get you up to speed on how this handy little bit of tech works, here are some important facts to know about mobile ordering:

What is Mobile Ordering and How Does it Work? The Mobile Order service allows guests to cut down on your wait times at quick service eateries by using the Disneyland App to order your food in advance. Here’s a quick rundown of how it works:

How Does It Work – Guests can order their food at the push of a button by following these simple steps:

Open the Disneyland App on your mobile device while at the parks (Sorry its GPS activated so this isn’t something you can do before you’re at the parks.)
Look for the Mobile Ordering icon
Select the restaurant of your choice and press the Order Food button.
Add the items you want and purchase them right from the app.
Select a time that you’d like your food to be ready and head to the Mobile Order pick-up window during your designated time.

What Restaurants Will Be Participating in Mobile Ordering? At launch, 15 restaurants at Disneyland Resort will be participating in the Mobile Ordering service these are as follows:

Hungry Bear Restaurant
Jolly Holiday Bakery Café

I Have Food Allergies. Is There Still a Way for Me to Use the Service? Yes. Order customization is offered during the process. This includes allergy-friendly options.

Can I Get Still Get a Passholder Discount With Mobile Ordering? Absolutely simply make sure you’re signed into the Disneyland App and that you’ve linked your annual pass to your account before ordering. This means that savings will automatically be reflected in your total.

Can I Pay With Disney Gift Cards if Using Mobile Ordering? No. Those wishing to pay cash or use Disney Gift Cards need to visit the restaurant directly. Only credit cards and debit cards are accepted for mobile order payments.
