First Look At The All Stars Movie Resort Refurbished Rooms

The All Stars Movies Resort is the next in line for room refurbishment and we were able to get an up close look at the new rooms.  For those of you familiar with the updated rooms at the Pop Century resort, the design will look familiar.

Let’s take a closer look!

The refurbished rooms will all have a pod coffee maker and a refrigerator.  There is a drawer under the coffee set up that contains cups (for hot and cold beverages), lids, stir sticks, coffee, tea, creamer and sweetener.  For me, this is a welcome addition to the value resort rooms.

There is also a larger television with attached dresser and safe area. The area on the top of the dresser has charging areas and USB ports.

The visible bed in the room is queen sized and has storage space underneath.  The lighting above the bed is beautifully themed  with Mickey, Minnie and Donald.  There are also light switches and USB ports on either side.

Next to the bed, there is a table and two chairs – or is it what is appears to be?

You will find some instructions next to table to reveal that this is actually a Murphy bed!

All Star Movies

When you pull down the Murphy bed, you will find some truly fun artwork.  There is also a individual light switch in the middle of the headboard and another plug and USB port area next to the bed.

Aren’t they just adorable?

The bathrooms have also been upgraded with glass sliding doors in the shower/tub area and larger shower heads.  The doors between the sink area and the rooms as well as those that divide the the tub area and the sink are sliding pocket doors.

These new showers also include the shampoo, conditioner and body wash built-ins.

There is additional storage area around the sink and a small closet to hang items as well.

There is even a light up magnifying mirror next to the sink.

And of course there are special touches that show us the stars!

Currently buildings 9 and 10 (Toy Story Section), building 8 (Fantasia section) and building 7 (Love Bug Section) have been completed.  Building 6 of the Love Bug Section is currently under construction.  The entire resort is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018.
